there was something about the haunted ruins that really set itself apart from the rest of the game, i guess - for lack of a better word - it was just so... very... haunting.

I hated this level so much. It was difficult to save the farmers before the demons killed them. If they killed them, then there really was no point in finishing the level because you couldn't get the chalice. Time to do it again!

I love this music. The level is pretty awesome too. This is also a good level if you want a good sum of gold. Just kill the running shadow demons in the beginning then use the hammer to extinguish the campfires and release the captives and follow them. They each give you a chest of gold.
