This song has alot more musical thought to it than alot of your huge mainstream bands have. For one thing, all of their songs sound different and has strong musical expression. As a musician, I will make a tune as musical as I can and allow the lyrics to flow. To many bands write a song within 5-15 minutes to sell and I am NOT one of them! When this is done, there is no dedication to make it better than it is.

And my opinion on the name; The Ponytail Parades is sort of a reference to the women who have walked out of his life (as in the ponytails are parading out?) The song is what he would like to say to her [each of them] because they all did the same to him, they left.

though this one sounds like it might have some sort of meaning

but usually they mean nothing more then "title" most of the time
