  • What a song ....no words man

  • Just stumbled on this - I am SPEECHLESS!! pure perfection....I have been looking at others, but this version is the ultimate BEST!! Thanks for posting this I am now gonna go an buy it if I can....I just wanna keep playing it.

  • Not many could feel the music like Bobby could.

  • The amazing Darin!!! He puts more emotion into one song than Sinatra put into his whole career.

  • @Don7071 I like Sinatra´s music, and I find what you claim really true. He is a good musician but Darin is just another kind of artist. He was and will always be superb. This man was one of the (if not "The") most talented musicians. Played by heart on every single performance.

  • Astonishing. Darin's always been a great 1st class singer, performer & musician. But this live version of Dylan's song has got to be one of the best covers of a Dylan song ever made. I usually don't say things like this but I do miss Bobby Darin. Darin was a fantastic artist. He played many, many instruments proficiently, wrote & arranged, sang pop, jazz, rock, country, folk & Broadway -- all excellently. Was comfortable with a Sinatra or Tim Hardin. Was praised by Elvis Presley. He was great.

  • Exquisite......thanks so much! Undoubtedly many here regret not getting out to see this great talent when there was plenty opportunity.....what were we thinking???? Who wouldn't trade scores of loser concerts for just 10 minutes of Bobby Darin live!

  • @murffie2 If only I was around! Only two I'd go back for: Darin, and Townes Van Zandt.

  • This changes my opinion of darin...alwaqys thought he was a sinatra type lounge lizard...he covers this song really well!!!

  • Umm indeed. A fine, heartfelt performance from a great entertainer. Thanks for posting.

  • Real fine cover of 1 of my Dylan faves by Darin...never heard this before, thanks for sharing.

  • As usual, Bobby does another superb job--this time of a wonderful Dylan song.

  • This version is tops--I agree with dragontailjunkie.

  • Friend of mine turned me onto the LP he did of " Folk Music " in about '71 or so...Blew My Mind....and was the LAST I ever heard of him....Wish I had a copy of that rekkid...most people you asl about it just give you a blank stare....

  • Thanks for the post. My estimation fo Bobby Darin just went way, way up.

  • @bigjer88 And I liked him a lot before this.

  • One of the best talents of all time!

  • What a talent. Tops!

  • This is totally at the top of my Bobby Darin favorite songs!! I wish that he'd had a normal life span to see where all of his talent would have led us to. He was a genius!

  • This is fantastic! Thank you for posting this. Bobby Darin was just the greatest. Such a loss to music, imagine if he had had anothet 20 or 40 years!!

  • WONDERFUL...thank you for posting it!!! What an awesome talent, he refused to fit neatly in any genre of the entertainment world, but rather fit equally well in all of them. No one before or since has accomplised that with his style!

  • Judy Rodman is an unspectacular singer who never made the big time for a reason. She sings no better than a million other wanna-be country singers. Darin's version here is okay but no one does it as good as Dylan.

  • This song is posted on Facebook page called "Golden Tunes - Sound of Oldies", so if you have fb account and some time, check it, i guess you will like it :) Page is for everyone who like like warm cozy sound of evergreen music.

  • Please don't ever take this down. I absolutely love it!

  • i cant believe how he pours his soul into this song. when i close my eyes, i remeber

all the things that make this "being here" just plain lovely :)

  • Judy Rodman sings the only version that captures the true essence of this song - Bobby does a nice job, but no comparison with Judy.

  • A big HEART thank you for allowing this on the tube again! Bobby, this is the best version. After all these years, still love you music - a true gift. See you on the other side.

  • Great rendition, but do listen to Robert Palmer and UB40...and Norah Jones.

  • @truthbetoldni Nope..... not even close... and I love Norah !

  • The absolute best rendition of this song

  • Best rendition of this song, ever. Bobby was an all around super talented person, style, rythm ++++++. Live in peace and thank you for giving us art.

  • Bobby Darin was a musical genius. His vocals style covered jazz, R&B, big band standards, Country & Western, Folk-Rock, etc. He was in a class by himself. He was already zooming by Sinatra when his weak heart finally did him in at only 37 years old in 1973. He would have been the GREATEST.

  • Oh my GOD ! Thank you. The woman who did an exquisitely created video black and white of this performance was taken down ! I hope this stays up !

  • This is VERY good, I can't remember ever hearing it before! He really has a nice voice for this kind of song!!

  • Thank you, Susanna. I agree. It is sexy. I love this song, and Bobby singing it. WOW! 1971, where does the time go? Thanks again. I like it.

  • Favorite!!! So glad to see this back.

  • This is really great - especially for a live performance! Thank you Nocaro!

  • @ariesgypsy : Thanks, ariesgypsy, for sending. On 4 playlists. I missed it!

  • I have never heard this voice from Darin before. When I saw Darin covering Dylan, I thought that it would be awful. Instead, it was absolutely great.

    Thank you so much.

  • Thank you so much for posting this it was removed before. Bobby could sing the phone book and it would be awesome!

  • great pickin by BD as well! As well as being the premier nighclub singer, songwriter, and actor, he was an an all around musician, playing vibes, piano, drums, harmonica, and as heard here, awsome guitar player. Damn well even sick, as he was here too. Love it. thx for posting!!!
