  • nice house

  • Nice Steve Vai shirt.

  • The SOGs are disappointments. Everyone I know with a SOG eventually has tons of blade play.

  • steve vai

  • im guessing that bandage on your thumb is the signature tenacious cut?

  • @IronmaidenFreak99 Maybe. It was over two years ago, so I don't remember. I've actually sold both of those knives and have moved on to Emersons almost exclusively.

  • @IronmaidenFreak99 It's in the video:

"cut my hand on a Emerson earlier..." 3:25

  • do u have tourretes??

  • In my opinion, these blades are pretty much equal in most ways. I do prefer Spyderco over SOG but you can't go wrong the how light the Flash 2 is.

  • Wow this is amazing that you have this video because THESE ARE THE TWO "good first knives" I owned. Both are OUTSTANDING.

  • Band -Aid on thumb, Am I the only one that thinks funny :)

  • @ryan519636 What kind of knock-offs do you have? Most are made by FRN which is better then plastic in every way and reduces weight. Check up on your specs before you say stupid shit like that (: btw I'm not you're buddy, I get kinda creped out by that.

  • @ryan519636 That's cute, because Spyderco has shitty deployment. SOG is a man's knife, Spyderco is what you give your kids.

  • @916Pepsi maybe if you would learn how to flick ur thumb you could open a spyderco. my spyderco has super fast deployment bc im not an idiot and i know how to open it.

  • I just bought both of these from yourcornerstore

  • for edc with an assisted opener, you should have a concealed weapons permit. it's usually not considered a 'common pocket knife'. the prosecutor will hand it to the judge, and let him/her flick it open a few times. get a spyderco without a liner lock, though. they do backlocks a lot better.

  • @haciendavil What state do you live in? In Cali it's perfectly legal to own and carry a assisted opener so there's no need to get a permit to carry a knife.

  • @916Pepsi I live in Florida. We have very liberal weapons laws, but i was just thinking that a non-assisted opener looks more 'common'. But the laws vary by state, and sometimes there are local ordinances that come as an unwelcome surprise.

  • I just bought both of these from yourcornerstore, $68.15 plus $6.05 shipping. Great deal on two great edc knives for $74.20

  • @richardsdesiderio Cool man I hope you like them!

  • spyderco > sog

  • Is there any spyderco with a deep pocket clip?

  • @eradimatrix Check out the Spyderco Caly 3.

  • Nice shirt dude.

  • I have Flash II, it's really good folder, however, I'll definitely buy Tenacious - its design is so great that it's a must-have for me now :).

    Nice comparison, coreyt008 !

    Cheers.

  • good comparison!

[you mixed up the weight in the description ; )]

  • Thanks! And you're right - problem fixed.

  • As soon as I saw your thumb I thought you felt the wrath of the tenacious! just like nutnfancy and cutlerylover! Great review, I just got my tenacious and love it.

  • Nice comparisons on these two great knives. I enjoyed watching. I was wondering what happen to you thumb, but you mentioned the Emerson, that explains it. Those knives are very sharp. Great Video! 5 Stars!

  • thanks man, means a lot coming from a fellow knife reviewer.
