Simon Mayo read out what was reported to be Stephen Frys posting on Twitter about the England win on BBC radio 2 yesterday. Which amused me but pissed off the aussie passenger in my car. I was hoping to print out the original quote and hang it on the wall at work to annoy him futher but I'm too much of a twit to find it.
I wondered if the twitter quote was a spoof but having seen this I think not. For some reason everything Stephen Fry says sounds like a spoof.
I thought Stephen Fry would be above such trivial banalities as sports?

Yeah, according to his autobiography, he tripped in a playground at school and fell on his nose. To be honest, I'd never noticed it until then.
