David Otunga might use the Verdict finisher on Goto, but the A-Lister will have to avoid the strong style of the Japanese star and those submissions are very deadly.
Awesome video. Goto is such an awesome wrestler. I love the Shouten. BTW the Kneeling Armbar is known as the Shoryu Kekkai. And correct me if I'm mistaken but isn't #4 an Avalanche Kaiten? Its just that I've never heard of it called the Go To Hell. 5* Vid :)
@aglewi41 Actually the STF is only done with a leglock on one leg and then facelock. The one might be thinking of is the Deathlock STF. You can actually watch another SuicidalDragon video to see the differnce at the end of it, The Top Ten Moves of Masahiro Chono.
Kind of liked that deathlock camel clutch. That's the first time I saw that move. I admit, I haven't seen much of Goto's work, but after seeing this vid, I'm going to have to track down some of his matches.
Most of Japan would agree with you, and until a few months ago I would fervently argue that NOAH was better, but this new style of theirs just isn't my cup of tea.
wow! great stuff. The Shouten is rough and brutal. The Fireman's Carry Neckbreaker was always one of my favorites, and that Avalanche Go To Hell was impressively executed.

Go 2 Hell was Goto's original, big match finisher, and oddly enough, looked a bit less imposing than the Go 2 Heaven(G2Hell was a Yoshi Tonic).

The kneeling armbar looked like a wrist lock?

the Shouten is SWEET !!!

i'd just like to point out that the deathlock camel clutch is called the stf
aglewi41 2 years ago
It's slightly different from an STF. With the STF, the attacker has the victim in a Facelock, not a Camel Clutch.
TheSuicidalDragon 2 years ago
@aglewi41 if anything it would be called a STF = Stepover Toehold with a Facelock if u were to call it anything it would be a STC

I remember when I saw him in Arena Coliseo here in Mexico, he wasn't allowed to use his moves and put over the other wrestlers.

Just a nasty, nasty man. And as much as I love the Shouten, my fave move of that bunch has to be the Deathlock Camel Clutch.

That armbar does have a name, by the way.
KingAndy1992 2 years ago
Really? All I've ever seen it called by was something that Michael Cole would be proud of(Modified Shoulderlock, to be exact).
TheSuicidalDragon 2 years ago
I believe it's called the Sho-Ryu Kekkai.
KingAndy1992 2 years ago
@KingAndy1992 yeah I've seen it called that a few times to. I believe it is named that in fpw as well... lol.

@TheSuicidalDragon that Kneeling Armbar is such an awesome hold. If i'm not mistaken, it's called Shoru Kekai
