I do have an idea for something customized which I got the idea for several years ago when I was in chemotherapy for breast cancer. But I'd like to know exactly how you would do this thing with designing my own custom.
Sticker for walls and homes. Size could be adjusted for each one. Car decals, larger size on t-shirt design side and front and top and back. Scrap book paper, stickers with shapes besides circles more detail. More clothes options and better user tools for uploading and customizing html on the stores.
Car decals? How about increasing the print area for t-shirt designs first!
When I shifted my efforts from Threadless to our new Zazzle store, there was an entire category of designs that I just had to nix right off the top because of the smaller print area.
Eg. - The limit at Zazzle is 12" x 14". At Printfection it's 13.5" x 16.5".
The additional 1.5" to 2.5" opens up many more possibilities.
Fashion tees anyone? Is anyone else tired of t-shirts with crass jokes and burning skulls like I am?
No, I agree car decals probably are not greener, unless they are made with some sort of non toxic, sustainable, biodegradable material. Customization is greener in the fact that it is better than mass producing thousands of the same shirt. I sell my art on Zazzle products and have had a good experience there. I wish they had a more sustainable product selection.
car decals? Love the idea? But how is all this greener, really? Other than some of the organic cottons I don't see where there is a green aspect to this. Would love to see it become easier & less costly to ship products to Canada! (re: shipping plus customs expenses are horrendous and I wonder why I should have to pay customs costs anyway if it's my design in particular!)
Imagine how Zazzle could become one of the leading firms in personalized 3D-printing. Going as far as personalized cars and homes. It's all about the software and user friendliness. Of cause this would blend in wonderfully in a eco-social paradigm like a Resource Based Economy.
It would DEFINITLY be nice to have more customization control over the items. Like adding prints to the WHOLE shirt or item, and not just a tiny box on the front or back that you have to fit your stuff into. It'd also be awesome to add the design anywhere on certain items instead of only in that stupid box again.
Another question, would the individual get to design what is being customized?

Great video.
I'd like to see white transparent stickers for cars.
The "trucker" hats are really cheesy looking. The net back looks really bad. Allow printing on fabric hats, not just embroidery.

FYI: That's not what zazzle's product editor looks like.

More freedom to customize designs on the whole shirt, and not just shirts,
but a complete line of fashion wear. And a better % point for the designers.

Nice video. I agree about how great it would be to print on the entire t-shirt (or item)

I'd like to find more unique designs made easily accessible, specially on shirts and wearable items. Cool way to express yourself.
