  • so like - whats the point of this video? he's not really teaching us anything new - or giving us a new insight into the topic.

infact - he may as well just give us the wikipedia link and tell us to read it.

  • And we saw a number of different sides to Freddie in the house (warts and all), just like all of them. But I thought he did live in the moment and was aware of the BB 'rollercoaster', as he called it. That was one of his strongest traits of endearment. Just living in the moment and smiling. :)

  • Sleepypoodle makies some well observed and articulated points.

However, I think you missed the point of the whole video here; and of Freddie imo.

Firstly, definitions of narcissism do include self-love. There is a history to this in psychology. You only focused on one end of it - which is what he was trying to point out..

  • It must drive you crazy rehashing moments from the house and trying to figure out what it all meant. I hope you're finding a little peace-- at least from notoriety-- over here.

In the house you once told Bea she was projecting onto you her own fears about being seen as negative and I think you really hit the nail on the head. She started doing it again with Marcus and whining-- telling him to stop whining all the time when it was her that was doing the whining. Anyway, have fun. Love you!

  • I think that you wasted far too much time on BB 'naval gazing' and theorising instead of just relaxing and living in the moment. Much of you analysis and perception of others was way off the mark which is why Bea hurt you so much.

You made the mistake repeatedly of misinterpreting friendly socialising for romantic overtures, and need to learn that most women desire platonic friendships with men but sadly most men are always mis-reading the signals due to their biological wireing to procreate.

  • Narcissism is far more than self-love, it's vanity & self-obsession to the detriment of others.

Self-awareness & egotistical, delusional self-obsession are completely different.

I don't think that Narcissists are capable of true empathy.

The Big Brother house tends to attract delusional characters with a disproportionately high opinion of themselves & actually very little self-awareness where it matters.

You let your ego get the better of you and failed to read people's genuine intentions.

  • I love you Freddie xxxxx

  • Haha, loving the little soporific moment there at the end

  • Freddie was easily the most balanced and well rounded personality in that pox hole of a house by light years, although it wouldn't have taken much, admittedly. It's just a shame that most people who vote on BB haven't got the sense to work these things out.

    Kick on old boy ;-)

  • I think Siavash and Kris were on the narcissistic side, whereas Kenneth and Bea were possible soicopaths. Do you think you were too loyal to your friends in the house ?. You seemed to stick up for people like Bea agaist David (in the food stealing incident) without knowing the full facts of the situation. Your speech in defending Siavash in the bedroom will go down in BB history.

  • good video. the dilemma tho is that people at the 'higher' end of the narcassism scale, and even more so those with less empathy have a higher chance of getting on reality tv or politics or whatever, when those people lower down the scale may have more to offer, its just not shouted about or the confidence may not be initially there......i think you got the balance right in bb tho, and showed good character traits.

  • Schizoid type personalities have the same lack of empathy and interest in other people but don't have the inflated ego of the narcissist. They just prefer to live within themselves.

  • What drives a person to appear on a 24 hour reality show if not trying to prove ones self worth. As a viewer its entertainment. For you guys who enter the BB house i believe its anything but.you all seem to hold a higher than most narcissistic trait with a dwindling sense of empathy. You displayed lack of empathy at times I should imagine this lack of emapthy was a direct result of being in the BB house and the anticipated status when you leave? Grand job by you Freddie! Enjoyed watching you.

  • I think Freddie was saying that indeed he also had narcissistic traits. He spoke in the first person at times in this video, making it clear he was reflecting on himself to some degree in terms of his experience on BB.

  • i think narciccism is a very valuable trait to cure boredom but you're right in the way that it is easy to get too far into that way of thinking to the point where you become a dickhead. i fight with it a bit in my own head most of the time. but as long as we don't take ourselves seriously we're alright. i realise i just said pretty much the exact same thing in the video. i could've been succinct and said "i agree" or something really.

  • I liked Freddie's opinions whilst in the BB house too. He should have won! (:

I think Bea loved herself even before all the attention she got in the house, lmao...

  • you are looking so well!! :)

    good on ya....

oh and btw, can you please let your fans know if you are still friends with Siavash.... its causing war on the forums!! LOL

    take care

    xtglx

  • Thanks so much for aiding my BB-, and especially Freddie-, withdrawal symptoms.

Freddie, only you could make a video like this! ! :) Love ya mate!
