i have an rp250 which has delay but doesn't have the tap tempo. is there a way to get the dotted 8th? (this is my first pedal so I really don't know how to use it yet)

Um, I almost nothing about theory, but for dotted 1/8th note rhythm, wouldn't you just tap on the "and" of the beat.?. i.e., one, two, three, AND, four... Is that basically what you're doing, or no?

Could'nt you just speed you metronome up 25% faster and tap on every beat? Then slow the metronome down when you play. If your playing in 4/4 time 100bpm tap your tempo at 125bpm.
