Hey! Have you thought about the X7 Guitar Mind Implant (do a google search)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my work buddy learned to play quickly with it.
I think I have looked at all these guitar videos, but this is good a good one. The concept is a learning tool. Any fool can learn a chord but controling them when there are more than one is another story. This concept will take you there and make you feel good about yourself.
gee-fucking wiz. y'all just bitch, bitch, bitch. it's a damn YouTube video, it's not always everything you expect when you click on it. the title was fitting. and even though it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, at least I can admit it was HELPFUL.
@Spoonifulable This is just some useful information, if you want to learn chords, google it. Theres a database full of every single chord you could ever dream of.
This video is called "Learn guitar cords once and for all". I wasted my time watching it as a beginner guitarist because it should have been titled "Learn NEW cords once and for all". As someone who has only recently held a guitar for the first time, this video is mis-titled.
The first 29 seconds makes me not want to recommend this otherwise quality pedagogical tool. Credits drive me nuts on instructional vids. Sorry for the rant, but it's how I feel.

I'm a new at guitar I have a lot a trouble with frets and chords this is very helpful for chords but I can't do the frets with messing up the strings .Do you have any tips on how to do the frets ?
i will try this method man,and if it works, thanks in advance, and if not...i doubt that this method isn't working cuz you're to good with that guitar, tnx
guitarlearningeasy(dot)com/<-- thats a nice website that gives you tips and pointers on how to learn the guitar, i definitely got some help from that blog
thanx this really helped even though im not really a beginer any more it still helped with a new technigue because i always had a hard time getting from f to b thanx a lot! :)
Hey Cliff, your technique in combination with the metronome brings me in a trance, it's just like I'm in space ... (Lol the center of the universe). ;-)
I just found your video after searching endlessly for ways to improve my muscle memory. Any suggestions from a seasoned vet like yourself? I just can't seem to switch fingerings from a C AGED. Then there's the Barre chords like that dreaded F. My forearms kill me after trying. WTF am I doing wrong?
I love my drums and transitioning from my kit to my guitar is a really tough one. This video is really helping me to understand new ways to learn chord progressions. Until i get good ill just keep rocking out on my kit XD
I am just about as newbie as they get but this method of learning new chords makes the most sense out of any video I have seen on youtube. Can someone here explain to me what a "thumb mute" is? Someone told me that I should be thumb muting certain chords and I am not sure what they meant.
dear i m also newbie..bt as i thnk in switching chords the position of thumb bhind the fret is very imprtant...try placing thumb as supporting fretboard ...ur thumb shud nt touch low E strng ...as i thnk..
toneslinger, thanks a ton for showing this to me! I already knew a couple chords, but never thought how to link them to learn more without struggling through songs that have them.
Thank you Cliff. That video was really helpful because i'm just starting out and learning new chords using your method is really helping me. Thanks again for this great, helpful video.
