This is ridiculous. First of all the treaty won't be legalized for another year so calm down, the meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark is a formality. And second of all there damn sure is a climate problem, is he out of his mind? Third of all there will not be a world government. They are creating an organization similar to the UN (which doesn't seem to have much effect on what countries do anyway, Ex=iraq.) to control and record carbon emissions. yes co2 comes from the oceans but we as people are not causing the problems . god gave us the earth so we breathing and living on it are not causing it to melt away. Rev 16:20 tells us the mountains and islands will all go away. could this be one reason for the ice melting?

I am thinking the ice has been growing and receding in cycles for very many thousands years and is related to activity of the sun. There has even been found tree stumps in Antartica so,it must have been warm there in the past. Nice to see someone have discussions with out cursing or name calling.

I can't believe ppl still use "leftist" and communism as an insult. The US is capitalist NeoCon and lately has been running itself into the ground. The U.S. is no more capitalist than China is communist . In economics, the U.S's system is deemed to be a "mixed economy" which means it has capitalist AND socialist attributes.

It is socialist to bail out banks and corporations, not capitalist. It is socialist to give corporations welfare, tax breaks and subsidies etc.

Socialism is why the U.S. is crumbling (just like the USSR did) because the survival of the fittest has been replaced with survival of the best connected.
