Give me a break all you haters. If Airbourne had come before AC/DC you would be saying the same thing about them. With all the watered down, mainstream bullshit you hear on the radio these days it's a breath of fucking freash air to hear a band that sounds like AC/DC, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest combined. What's better? They write original fucking songs. It's the 21st century, Airbourne is bringing true hard rock for a new generation, and if you don't like it then go fuck yourself.

@Anducdc Didn't the record label force Quiet Riot into recording the slade song, and that Quiet Riot didn't want to do it, since they didn't actually like Slade.

And why don't you like Airbourne because of DC? They aren't trying to be like them, they have tones and hints of loads of other big names. People just generalize their sound saying it's like AC/DCs when their music has influences from every where.

For a more extreme example, people slate Wolfmother as being a Zeppelin rip-off, when Zeppelin ripped off so many people (without crediting) that they make Wolfmother look like the most original band ever. Look up "Dazed and Confused jake holmes" if you don't believe me.

Every rock band was influenced by another. Beatles and the Stones - the supposed originators - played other people's established music for their first two albums.

@MutteringUrchin Yeah, i know, Zepplin was to the extreme of being "influenced" but they got mostly unnoticed, only now with Youtube are they being exposed really. You can't help taking influence, of course you want to write something new but these days that is near impossible, and a lot of people grew up listening to certain bands so they will want to purposely take large influences, but that doesn't make them a rip-off nor is it that they want to be one band, as i doubt many big bands actually

Man, that last section starting at about 3:16 just blows your brain out of the back of your head. The drums suddenly starting cranking out at a hundred miles an hour, there's a goddamn solo, and the bass is doing crazy stuff too. Great stuff.
