@williestroker16 Third wasn't the bad, they just didn't focus on the crazy gore and ridiculous jokes that were in the the other 2 that people were used to, instead it was more emotion. Beast mode is great, horde mode is still the same and multiplayer is still competitive. Tho I do agree that 2 was the best

@killaghostface1256 Imo i think the game was aimed at emotion but they really didn't capture except for the scene that Dom died, that was great but the last scenes were awful, like Gears of war was about these terrifying human like monsters who are fighting you for the planet the third had all explosive mutant explosive monsters with no aim, i really thought Beast mode was terrible no replay ability and 2 had far better community, 2 will always be my favorite game, but i'll never play 3 again

@williestroker16 Actually, Gears was about humans' desperate struggle for survival in a war against"mutant monsters" and that's all gears has been about story-wise. Imo gears 3 captured that factor pretty well.And how were the Lambent not horrifying? They were the ugliest enemy A.I's i've ever seen in any games.And beast mode is pretty cool, though like you said it had no replay value. No offense, but you sound like GOW1 players bitching about GOW2 all over again...

@killaghostface1256 i thought it became more fake and explosive aimed for excitement and i felt the locust were more terrifying, nah i thought Gears one had the story, two had subtle brightening and graphic changes and the online just had the right people you know for fun, made a lot of friends on it, 3 changed a lot and while it looks amazing and better it's just not gears and it was filled with too many new players just starting now, i think gears of war 3 ruined the trilogy, but it's opinion

@williestroker16 Of course Gears 1 had the story, it was the first game! Two advanced the series, and DEFINITELY had the best online community. And yes, 3 changed the series, that was their goal, it's still gears, competitive and upbeat. Just because it has a lot of new players doesn't change it. Yes it's slightly annoying, but it's easy to deal with. And EPIC's trying to do all they can to make like the others. It didn't ruin anything, just stands out. but i still miss the gears 2 days...
