Actually this aircraft was sent to Victorville just a day or two after this video was shot. The same type of aicraft is at the Aviation Heritage Museum. It is Terry Smith's aircraft that was used to fly historic flights between Alaska and Russia. An iconic aircraft for Alaska aviation.
Always a shame to think that an example of such a landmark plane isn't kept for static preservation in many countries that used them for yeras to the point they became a travel icon. They don't take up much more space than a DC-3, (wingspan about the same) and they make great, novel themed bar/cafe/restaurants. Now is the time to aquire one as it's easy to swap time expired engines to make a complete display aircaft, its revenue pays for it's upkeep.

I hope Hawaii can follow suit with Aloha's Funbird painted machine, when you consider it's enduring timespan with that iconic airline, merits for preservation are immense. Worthy to note that as the first anniversary of the airlines demise comes up. Here too, I'm actively hoping to encourage the same, as the 732 type worked for 33 years, carrying millions.

This exact aircraft is permanently parked a mile away from the terminal at the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum. So...no shame.
