Very nicely done! 5 stars for sure...I love Sarah when I 'm traveling and I do a lot of that! I am a truck driver who travels all of the United States and loves his work! She melts the stress away when I'm in bad traffic or passing the time waiting on a load. She is still so beautiful for her age and that voice is chiling in an intoxicating manner. Would love to see her before she stops touring. Maybe one of these days...keeps up the great work!
Ooooppps! I've just noticed that I credited JS Bach as the 'originator' of the two songs I mentioned by Aphrodite's Child and Procol Harum....It was of course Johann Pachelbel's famous 'Canon in D' that inspired the songs!
My apologies to Johann, and to you for briefly inadvertantly misleading you! Sorry!
On the topic of 'remodelling' classical music - it's done all the time!! For instance, 'A Whiter Shade of Pale', by Procul Harum, is a reworking of a tune by JS Bach; as is 'Rain & Tears', by Aphrodite's Child - both from the late 60s.
Regarding adding lyrics to Beethoven, Miguel Rios, had a big hit around the world in 1970 with a lyrical version of Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy', called 'A Song of Joy'. People didn't riot - instead, they danced to it! In truth, all music is derivative, of source.
@SeverityOne First of all, there is nothing wrong with wanting to make one unique to you. Second of all it way more moving so suck it up. Do you not understand that covers are paying tribute? they are not suppose to sound alike!!!
@TearisShatteredMoon I think you're missing my point. It's not a cover; it's more like putting lyrics to Beethoven's 5th Symphony. There would be riots in the street if somebody did that.
@SeverityOne Why? why can someone not pay tribute to classic music and mix their own song with it as well? I see it as flawed "can't touch the classics" reasoning. Removing of artistic design
@RaNdOmNeSs247365 That's ok honey you keep your head up. You know more about great music than any of your friends. You're the same age as my youngest granddaughter. :) My oldest granddaughter sings in a band. Her name is Stevie Renee Vaughn(yes named for Stevie Ray) and her website is magdalenerocksdotcom. Click on 'music' on navigation to hear songs. In addition to singing she plays guitar, violin and the Roland piano onstage.
As someone would say, Merry Christmas everyone! So Merry Christmas Sarah Brightman, either as sacred celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ to bestow upon you infinite joy

Sarah Brightmann's obsession to bring lyrics to instrumental pieces is starting to get on my nerves. No way does this come close to ABBA's original.
SeverityOne 5 months ago
@SeverityOne Actually, Björn wrote the lyrics to it so it could be used in Mamma Mia, it's not like she came up with it herself.
