It SORT OF makes sense. As Tsuna's right hand man, he fees a responsibility to look out for his well-being at all times, which includes a healthy distrust of Mukuro and his motives. Chrome only recently began to deal with the main cast directly (ep 160), so things might get better. He might (?) be included here to "keep an eye on" their activities, although Mukuro seems a little out of place with Tsuna's attitude and disposition, but he is happier when Chrome's around.

The Gokudera face is a joke most popular to the Japanese Reborn community. It's often called "Gowadera", with "Gowa" meaning "Episode 5" It's the face that was used for a scene in episode 5, after Yamamoto yawned. Gokudera had this badly animated face... though, many other scenes were badly drawn too.
