The reason he killed off Tomoya was the same reason for the original tragic ending in Clannad After. To show that life is not perfect and hoe powerful their "love" truly was. Personally I find the ending of Tomoyo After much more painful to bear..Clannad After had a happy ending, unlike Tomoyo

Actually, Kyou after exists on CLANNAD visual fan book for game that Kai who wrote Kyou's story and the title is "Line between girlfriend."

It is about the story after Kyou and Tomoya have become a couple.

Hey, guys! I got a good news now that Kyou story from CD will be included on section 8 of DVD "CLANNAD AFTER STORY." I mean, Kyoto Animation Company, which made all stories of anime CLANNAD, is working for Kyou story to release on DVD. I heard this DVD will show up on July 1st, but they plan to show us only Kyou story first, when is May 24th.

Kyou is high-popular character, man. There are a number of people who love her in Japan and foreign countries indeed. I have no idea about Kotomi, though.

The reason Tomoyo after was made is because of Mr. Maeda who is one of the writers on KEY. He loves Tomoyo personally and decided to make her after story.

Mr. Kai who is also a writer on KEY loves Kyou personally.

The only question I still have is why Mr. Maeda needed to kill Tomoya on Tomoyo after even he likes Tomoyo.

Tomoyo After was an adult game, Clannad was not, and may never be. I bet some of the Clannad fans who wanted Kyou After probably wanted to see official 18+ material with her, since that's the case with Tomoyo in her after story.

about the graphics, kanon,air,one,clannad had worse graphic than what you just seen, it's only starting from tomoyo after that they got good graphics, if you're wondering why, good check what year the games are made in.

I think it has more to do with the artists than the computer power, because these games aren't made with 3D. Frankly, I think Fumio (the artist for Tomoyo After) does much better than Key's artists ever did.

Well, i'd give my opinion on this.. I'd say they had better looking characters then this, why the hell KEY took that other graphical designer that was in charge in "planetarian" game project wich was ugly as hell..

I'd have preferred to have the Graph designer that was in charge for the Clannad game.

But Air and Kanon we're quite decently looking, although the eyes we're bit over the edge tho ^^'

Although I wouldnt disagree completely since I couldn't find any proof. I tried searching up Kyou after, or literally, 杏アフター, I couldn't come up with an official site (or personal one) at all. All I got from google were different sites which had this video.

It's fan made. The songs from the video were all from the Tomoyo After OST. The name "It's a Wonderful Days" is a spin-off of "It's a Wonderful Life" from Tomoyo After. But of course I wouldn't mind being wrong though ;)
