  • I NEED TO KNOW WHO DO U DID THAT.

I need that for my movie :P

  • Help Me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

  • Order 66

  • awsome, please tell me how its done

  • @AftermathGamingClan I could have made in in cinema 4d in 1999 so 3 years ago is not an issue.

  • The scanlines are not correct. A 3d projection would scan in 3d, it now scans in 3d the lines are parallel to the dimensions of the viewport of the movie. It should be in 3d too. Why do you make this with adobe aftereffects? A 3d design program would be smarter. You can also put the background as a texture, then you only have to make a simple 3d model with transparant texture on it wicht has the lines (like a alpha layer) on top of the other textures.

    But it does look good.

  • that is so cool :)

  • please fix the link!

  • very thx for the tutorial

  • That is ace! 5 stars

  • Stop with that nub.

  • do you think you can post the tut here as i can't use firefox, if you say that it was made by these people etc....

  • I'm the guy who made the tutorial for Aurellia, and it's some weird bug with the tutorials being hosted with Revver...

Never fear though, we're switching servers and hosting it all ourselves pretty soon!

  • needs scan lines

  • It has scan lines. They aren't showing up so hot on YouTube resolution because they're 1 pixel high, but they're there.

  • ah, now that you mention it, i do see them, i would suggest maybe slightly bigger, like 3 or 5 pixels.

  • @pearshapedjedi I can see scan lines :D

  • Although the base of the flash light lid (i dont know what it is im judt guessing) is at a diffrent angle then the table good job.

  • It's a small lamp from IKEA with the cord removed. Not sure why it looks like it's at a different angle than the table to you... it's actually sitting on the table.

  • Im just blind or somthing i guess o___O

  • all with only after effects???

  • Nice!!

That tutorial you gave gives a 404 Not Found page though...Anywhere else?

  • I'm the guy who made the tutorial and co-owns Aurellia...

We've been having some troubles with our web servers lately trying to do some huge upgrades to the website, but I'll PM you a link to the tutorial on Revver...

  • ok whats the link?

  • check ur PM's

  • wow you got skillz!!!!!!! I'm watching your tutorial. keep it up!!! :) 5/5

  • Thanks! To be clear, though, it's not my tutorial. It was an excellent turorial that I found online and followed to make the above video.

  • what plugin did you use to green screen it?

  • Looks pretty good! How did you get it to rotate? Did you use a 3d program? Good job!

  • The TIE fighter was modeled in TrueSpace (3D rendering program), and animated to rotate against a pure green backround, which I then "green screened" out when I imported it into After Effects.

  • You could've just exported a PNG sequence with an alpha channel... Saves the keying process ;)
