  • when this song gets into the subtle beat at the end and the piano kicks in a bit more it is simply perfect music. thank you thom yorke and radiohead for showing the world how its done.

  • genius

  • I can't believe the beauty..

  • There are no words adequate enough to describe both the beauty of the song and it's perfect match to the beauty of the scenery. You have a gift dear one. Thank you for sharing.

  • imagine seeing everything like that...

  • If I could only pick 10 songs in the whole music history this one would definitly be in my playlist

  • best song from the eraser

  • @Voltaholic awww yeah

  • @netochka92 obvious troll is obvious

  • @JoseMariaLS clean your ears douchebag

  • @JoseMariaLS obvious troll is obvious

  • my penis is small

  • this video's amazing.... makes me feel like i;m in the 90s... but mabey the songs does more to create the effect

  • This video reminds me of the album artwork on Kid A

  • Was this filmed in IR or was it just inverted in post-production?

  • I think this song is about feeling uncomftorble with your art from overexposer of your sole

but thats what real art is, if you feel comftorble with your art then its not real art. Unlike these plastic pop artist who hide behind love songs that nobody can relate to.

  • @uh0oo so true! so so true!

  • I think this song is about feeling uncomftorble with your art from overexposer of your sole

  • Very soothing, and relaxing with headphones.

  • Such beautiful music; so haunting and quiet and resonating. This reminds me of why I am so disgustingly in love with Thom.

  • listen to this without gettin introspective!!

  • these solo songs are more soothing than any radiohead songs.that goes for anything on ok computer too!!

  • Planant.

  • Bizarre but adictive track, best on the album by the way. Cool vid.

  • How many dreams, and hugs, and kisses with this song....

    and how many tears, too....

  • love it!

  • achingly beautiful song

  • The live performance has so much more to it!

  • fits in perfectly with the song thanks

  • more eraser... so eerie, but i love it.

  • So simple, yet so genius.

  • Maximálně perfektní song.. Jako abstraktní sen.

  • 3:30 onwards is more haunting than nearly anything I've heard. Although Antony and the Johnsons can be pretty dark.

  • @VirulentPip

What about We Suck Young Blood ?

    Talk about haunting.

  • @KrishnaNL80 one of my favorite songs by RH right now.

  • this song seems on the initial listen as a build up to an acktual song as do alot of the songs from the eraser. but you listen again and you see that its about that buid up and all that feeling in it and getting lost in it and that is beautiful. i hear alot of things about this album not getting much attention and often has been forgotten and thats sad. I feel alot of poeple have dismissed this album because they havent been able to see the beauty in it and its abot the feeling befor the feeling

  • @Liv2skateify

yeh ,,,,, i didnt know much about this album until i got a song from it and i checked it all ç

    very good stuff :)

  • this song is apotheosic... at the beginning the bizarre synth blips... and as time passes by everything starts to get more and more intense... apotheosic order in disorder

  • When the drums come at the end, I think I could die

  • Thom Yorke is magic! Plain and simple.

  • reminds me of 2001 space odyssey

  • this is my favourite all time utube clip, thank muchly :) :)

  • my new backyard!

  • impressive kind of art, in some way

  • such a depressing song....its like...being trapped...like bleeding and hurting on the inside while walking through a deep...dark..depressing forest...

  • it's interesting how people have different feelings when they hear songs, I find it kind of euphoric in a way. i know what you mean by "trapped" it's kind of claustrophobic, but also beautiful and uplifting.

  • Yeah, yeah..

The song Hearing Damage makes me feel confused about everything I think I have figured out. Same with Black Swan.

  • it is how I imagine the lovecraft novel "At the mountains of madness"

  • Nussa!!

    Que musica top de linha...

Estou sempre me surpreendendo com Radio...

    Excelente music !!

    Excelent Video....

    Excelent Thom York

    Great!!!

    Great!!!

    Great!!!

  • A great video for a great song! Congrats! ;) Ure good! :)

  • thank you for your kind words

  • bakan la cancion

  • 3:22 - my favorite musical moment ever.

there were ten in the bed and the little one said roll over

  • i agree

  • This is near of the Minimal...

  • This is win.

  • is that the Lincoln tunnel in New York?

  • yes

  • Reminds me of one of those scenes from 2001: a space oddysey. Nevertheless, still a good job.

  • yep, a little

  • Beautifully made video, fit the song well.

  • i would loose my marbles if it wasnt for thom, god bless ya boots thom

  • this is one the greatest songs ever written...i like how it sounds futuristic..

  • 3:24 to 3:38 = Master peice

  • i love the drums in this song. awesome.

  • by the way is it official video? can someone name which vidoes are official from The Eraser?

  • If you like this, search the following Radiohead b-sides on here:

    "Trans Atlantic Drawl"

    "Fog"

    "Gagging Order"

  • Black Swan and Harrowdown Hill. I'm not sure if there are more.

  • no this isnt. fan made. only one was made official

  • Thom we love you

  • Can't say I take to this video, it's nice and everything, but the music's about floods, people desperatley escapeing utter destruction and so on, and the clip is far too calm.

  • Apparently Phil is going to be releasing a solo album>>

  • this is seriously beautiful

  • With this album Thom confirm he's 2 step ahead from us

  • definitely premature.

  • This album is very hard for me to "get into". I love most of the radiohead albums, but this solo one seems to come from another planet or something. Did any of you guys feel the same alienation in the beginning?

  • It's not a Radiohead album, it's a Thom Yorke album. He's only one part of them together they sound different than as individals.

  • Yes, it took me a while to get it. But I have the same thing with Radiohead albums! Same as with RH stuff, once The Eraser clicks with you, you can't imagine ever not loving it. I would really recommend you don't give up on this album, it's a modern classic in my opinion.

  • i thought it just sounded like another radiohead album, haha

    i love this album

  • Tillerknavs vice versa. it was very easy to me to "get into" such music, maybe cause my past was full of electronic music, for an average , rock prefered , fan of Rh i quess it may be diffcult.(the same with Kid A usualy)

But I think it's a chance and hint to broaden your outlook on music in general, try to listen and understand smth new, and good too))

  • I love this, and the album, which gets better with every listen. Thom is the nearest thing to a modern musical genius we have in this country and I do not use the term lightly. I truly believe he'll be seen as such in 50 or so years' time when people look back on his work..

  • Oh so true. Probably the most important/influential musical soul right now and for a long time. Just think of what he has done to music! It's just too bad theres still people out there who haven't heard or can't appreciate what he and the other members of radiohead have done to modern music.

  • I am pushing forward to the henry rollins too

  • yea, henry rollins version is awesome. even i like certain parts about this versoin better.

why dont i have this CD again?...think ill buy it online right now aha =P

  • ive heard the version on the henry rollins show and i think its hard to choose the best but all in all its a class tune.

  • henry rollins version is better

  • what are the lyrics from 4.04??

  • apparently it's "there were ten in a bed and the little one said roll over"

which if it's true increases my love of this song to no end.

would definitely be one of the greatest closing lines of an album ever.

  • canutewaves, I could never figure it out but now that you've posted that ("there were ten in a bed and the little one said roll over"), it's definitely what I hear. increases my love of this song to no end too!

  • its all about the beat

  • Blop blop blop blep blep bleep bleep bleep

  • The last 2 minutes of this song is the best thing on the album imo.

"There were ten....in a bed.....and the little one said.....roll over."

  • totally agree

  • Hmm...this is my least favourite song on the album. Before everyone gives me the thumbs down, I still think it's a great song. It's just I've seen a lot of people who think this is the best song on the album and I don't understand it...

  • I felt the same way too for awhile. But now I think it's one of the best, if not THE best song on the album. Just listen to it more intently, after awhile, it really gets to you.

The buildup towards the "rush", and then the end which blows you away.

  • THIS SONG IS AMAZING, JUST FEEL IT

  • P.S. good video too, but some of the lyrics are wrong i think.

  • thank you, and yes some of the lyrics are not correct. it was too late to go back and edit them after i erased the project in video editor.

    cheers

  • why compare the live version to the studio version, like it's a contest to see which you like more. Both are brilliant. This version is incredible and i wouldn't change "the blooping noise" or "make the piano louder" as a few people suggest. But to play it live, he has to change things and does so brilliantly. So just appreciate and don't 'Analyse' everything.

  • 'there's no time.. to analyse..' :P

  • so much atmosphere

  • I can really relate to this song.

  • After a few more listens, I can say that the studio version kicks the live version's ass.

  • Well, I just have to say that the live version was better than this.

  • you're wrong. The bleeping and with the melancholic melody make up a beautiful contrast

  • i agree with you that the bleeping

is a beautiful contrast, but is there

really a right or wrong with musical interpretation?

  • no, my oppinion is that he's wrong. That's why I say "you're wrong". I don't have to be say "in my oppinion" because (obviously), when discussing music everything is subjective

  • he should have made the piano a little bit louder

    still a sick track

  • it comes again to m(a)y brain

  • yokcocuk,Do you have a fascination with modern art?

The Talking Heads have some interesting videos/songs.I have some of them on myn favorites.check them out.

  • Very nicely put together but some of the lyrics are slightly wrong and some are missing such as (the climax of the song)...

"There were ten in the bed...and the little one said....roll over"

  • that beeping noise in the foreground that plays throughout really messes up the song... I love it.

  • the beeping makes it

  • mmhmm.

  • he originally sung this with radiohead

  • can you post that version again?

    that would be amazing.

    thanks.

  • was so much more bautiful without showing the lyrics...

  • the best thom yorke song.

  • trippy

  • without words

  • love it!

  • very well done

  • enjoyed it, thanks

  • GENIUS
