I love this 901 model fucking brilliant. My battery last 8 hrs very portable and strong build. Speakers are load and clear. Keyboard a little tight to type but Im getting used to it now and starting to like it. Love the screen size perfect for what I need, bigger than I thought easy to red text. The cpu doesnt get hot and it makes no noise love it. Dont use my 14" Laptop much anymore. Cost me $479 Australian dollars($320US) fucking bargin I think anyway.

No, it's not an Ultra-Mobile PC. UMPCs are small form factor tablet PCs - and the Eee PC 901 is not a tablet PC.
The most appropriate term for an Eee PC is a "netbook" as that ties in with Intel's terminology.
