Oh! The LIttle Duffer! My folks used to take us there when we were kids! Goodness...that was 30 years ago!

In 1986, I was working for an oil drilling company from Kansas that sent us up to Shenandoah to drill a well in a new area they were exploring. I will never forget the name of the motel we stayed in. It was the Tall Corn Inn. Also remember going to a bar in a town Essex, it was a strip bar and of course us young roughnecks had to do some partying there. I did like the beauty of the area though, but the humidity was more than I was used to.

@LukeTHr I remember the Tall Corn! (it's now something else - I forget what!) My mom worked there for awhile in the 90's. I always loved the red wallpaper in the bar room, LOL!
It's a great area, but yeah it is so humid there!
