Anyone know of bands similar to this but use Death metal vocals (deep/non-screaming)? like fleshgod apocalypse, septic flesh.. etc? I personally don't like the screaming like in this... but love the symphonic part.

I hate people who continually try to tell people to quit arguing and just listening to the music. It's very healthy to have arguments over music and ideas. It's also healthy to express your preferences of one subgenre of metal over another. So let people hate on whatever they want, so long as they bring valid points to the table and they aren't just trying to hatefuck anyone who disagrees with them.
@EpicHeavyMetalRoadie I used to feel the same way. One day I realised I love the instrumental parts of death metal and then I got used to the vocals. If you haven't actually really checked out death metal, I highly reccomend you start with the band Death. Their albums Symbolic and The Sound of Perseverance are what made me start to like death metal. The songs Crystal Mountain, Spirit Crusher and Scavenger of Human Sorrow in particular.
I used to be able to scream like the vocalist. Now, I sound a cross between Angela Gossow, Tom Araya and Max Cavalera. I love Black Metal and have decided to combine it with Slayer for my band (we are called Devastate and are from the UK).
Man, how can you say the vocals sucks if you don't know nothing about the extreme culture and how to do growls? It's another way to sing, It's art! Don't bash extreme metal if you're stucked on classic heavy. I see no point to spread metal "kind/culture" more than it is.

when artists or bands become hated by your friends and cohorts you also begin to think their music sucks.

@TOXIC00L Yeah, but I'm from the united states I see quiet often how bands/artist try to put out what the mainstream wants. For example a band starts off by making the music they want to hear, they get mainstream and realize they "have" to make a certain type of music because the majority of the people like it meaning more cash for them. Which that sound is going to stay for awhile the average person doesn't want to hear "someone screaming" they want to hear softer stuff. And that won't change.

Which is another big reason, I hate Christian metal, I just can't stand listening to it, the number of "Satanic"/non christian bands would decrease and Christian bands would increase. I listened to unblack metal once in my life and it was the scariest thing I ever heard.
