The Blessed Virgin had only ONE biological child, and that is Jesus. Mary had no biological children before or after the birth of Jesus. There is a reason why Mary is called a virgin. That is because before and after Jesus' birth, she remained a virgin. She remained a virgin all her life. And her marriage to Joseph was a chaste marriage.

Mary and Joseph's had a normal husband and wife relationship so Mary gave birth to several children (after Jesus birth). It;s not detestable to God if Joseph and Mary got children because they are married and will never committed sexual sins. Here is the proof the Mary have several sons(with specific names) and daugthers - Read Matthew 13:53-56 and John 7:1-5 on your catholic bible

Just curious, what religion are you? I'm Catholic and we believed that our Holy Mother does not have other children, Jesus is her only son, born of the Virgin Mary. That's why her name remain hail as the Blessed Virgin Mary.. God Bless.
That is funny that you ask me my religion, since I have recently changed it. My religion is that I follow a man. He is my Savior, friend and King. I also follow his word, to which this video is inspired. I challenge you this Easter season to read/study every passage in the Bible talking about Mary the mother of Jesus (sometimes it will get confusing b/c there are a lot of other women named Mary in the gospels). @luv2t8krisk Yes, and the scriptures never teach this. They teach that Mary had children, 4 named sons and sister. The words in Acts and Icor15 are greek and they mean blood brothers. James is named in Acts as Jesus blood brother. Greek again and it means the same thing. Read the scriptures and you will find out the real truth.

It does not say this directly, but it appears to me that Jesus is pulling his mother away from being satisfied just being the mother of the Messiah. She is his mother in the flesh and blood, yet Jesus wants to have another type of relationship with her; a spiritual one.
