The Doors are the greatest, people. They deserve to be listened to religiously. Their music was some of the most beautifully haunting and meaningful stuff ever created. But give modern music a chance. But there was just as much commercial crap being broadcast back then as today. The reason The Doors will be remembered is because they were so strange and brilliant. But do not shy away from modern music all together. I love Radiohead, Muse, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Rage Against the Machine!

Well the reason why it is sad, is because most of the people from my generation listen to crap that has no feeling or meaning.
