You can't remark a show like this that is so identifiable with the 70's. The technology today makes this look silly and fake. It was exciting to watch and this scene where Jamie discovers whats going on was the best of the Fembot series that aired. Lindsey Wagner won an Emmy for best actress in a drama series in 1977 for this role. In the catagory with her was Kate Jackson for her role as Sabrina Duncan on "Charlies Angles".

Another random memory (and I may be confusing shows...), but I seem to remember an episode here on on 6MDM where people got super powers from something that looked like silly putty. I think they ate it and it was toxic, or addictive, but made them strong... I remember just enough to feel frustrated that I don't remember more. Anyone else remember this?

yes, it was a bionic woman episode where jamie sommers look-a-like "lisa" ate a silly putty looking substance that gave her abilities the same as jamie's except for the bionic hearing. the substance was toxic and lisa was having pain and cramps because of it. i remember that episode like it was yesterday. LOL!

Ah the Fembots. They were so frightening to me as a child. The bit where their masks would come off -- that used to send shivers down my spine. Haven't seen this episode for a long time, but when watching it just now, I fell about laughing at the look on Jaime's face.

I was around 8 when this premiered on TV and the Fembots scared me to death! I've NEVER forgotten them! I love being reminded of my childhood! So much so that I even have a Jaime Somers doll & the Fembot doll (complete w/2 faces & wig & original outfit with crazy platform shoes!). Keep the CGI laden stuff that is rampant today........old school stuff like this rocks!

When Lindsay Wagner became a mother, she didn't let her kids watch any episodes of the Bionic Woman until they were of a mature age. Something to do with them being at a young, impressionable age and getting 'wrong ideas' about her.
