News presenters don't just read from an autocue - they write their own scripts and preparing the bullitens themself. I spent a day at BBC TV Centre working with Simon McCoy and they do so much and are under so much pressure! Carrie Gracie is worth every penny!

It doesn't matter if Carrie earns £192k a year, she's not a lying,thieving bastard who fiddles expenses.
Everyone of those lot should have been sacked (see what happens to you if you fiddle your expenses at work) and then prosecuted for fraud.
They would have loved to have been able to gag the press and keep it all quiet but everybody knows what they are now.
If she'd said her salary was under £30k, everyone would have been happy with it.

Carrie Gracie is one retarded individual. I believe her most retarded moment was during the BBC's live broadcast of the Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony. She kept criticising the Chinese and their government, like there was no tomorrow. Gracie is seriously in need of help and, along with the BBC state tv, continues to belittle and criticise the Chinese. The only reason for this hatred is pure jealousy. The West can't stand that their little party is now being spoilt by China's success
