Oh i see, so the parallel universe theory is just an escape hatch for ridding the world of GOD and his infinite qualities...Sinful and rebellious People will believe anything, as long as it's not in the bible...
First, I don't believe the 'multiple universe' theory. But here's a paradox made slightly easy. What if you saw yourself back in time and told yourself to NEVER enter a time machine, so you don't.Then you will never have gone back in time to tell yourself not to go into a time machine. Then you WILL have gone into the machine, and told yourself to not go into a time machine.
@giant648 No, not mirrored. The whole point is that nobody really knows. But I argue the idea that we can still have free will without infinite universes. Infinite universes are some silly thing that mathematicians invent to explain why equations don't work. That's all. It just another way of saying "I dunno!" and is a totally lame way out. Free will can still exist but our perception becomes a part of the equation. Related video: v=lFLR5vNKiSw
The concept of "free will" is a romantic or philosophical idea, not a physical one. The world of physics never has begun to explain even modern psychology much less abstract terms like "free will". I will for a philosophical argument agree with you that my simple equation explanation leads us down one path or the other. AKA "free will" VS multiple universes. But modern quantum physics can already be interpreted as multiple universes and Heisenburg's uncertainty gives "free will" a back door.
The grandfather paradox is silly. So is the multiple universe thing. It is for people who can not imagine a past created by a future that simultaneously is created by the same past. Its like solving a simultaneous equation in algebra. Each coefficient affects the other. Its as simple as 2a+b=c and 2b-a=c. both equations are valid and there is one solution for the system.
@darkbrookerik no actually there isnt, if i put 2(2)+4=c and 2(4)-2=c then c would have two different solutions, 8 and 6 and the paradoxes make sense when you say that the past is created by a future that is created by the same past because if the future creates the past and vise versa everything in time has already happened and been determined. Therefore, if time travel becomes possible, the only reasonable outcome is that there are multiple universes or there is no such thing as free will.
I don't think that this makes sense. Because why would you go back to another universe? One that's different? You just went quickly through space and time, you didn't go to a universe that didn't send you there in the first place. There is no grandfather paradox, all it means is that you have a 0% probability of being able to kill your grandfather which is probably why we CAN'T build one yet - because noone is able to hold the oath to not try to change the past. It obviously can't be done anyway
ok Dr Ronald Mallett since you built that "time machine" you said that from that moment on, you would recieve any kind of información from the past (your self sending info to you in the present), but four years have passed, and now the question arises: have you received at least a fucking piece of paper to justify the millions of dollars that you have spended in that project?
time travel to the past would not be possible until the moment of when the first time machine is built. how would you get back to the future if you did not have the time machine already built.
time travel to the past would not be possible until the moment of when the first time machine is built. how would you get back to the future if you did not have the time machine already built.
@steveometer92 I've been thinking about that lately, and I thought of this.(just a theory)You would live your life infinitely, there would be an infinite amount of you, because your future AND past self would live in the same time 'zone'.Then your past self would go back in time, where your future self would meet your past self, who would meet your even further in the past self.Eventually, there would be an infinite amount of you and you would never live past the moment you entered the machine.
Here a secret. Just because we think about it, we would have been already been visited and since future people would know about parallel universes it would make no difference for them to tell the truth. Since no such visit have been made today with people from the future, don't wait avout a time machine any soon. Sorry to break the fun.
supposing this theory about the infinite number of universes is correct, how could you be sure that when you left, what you'd be returning to was your own original timestream? i mean, would you have just disappeared forever to the people who knew you, popping 'back' into a new universe where either there were two of you or nobody knew you at all? and wouldn't that render his "time machine" useless as it isn't his future that he's communicating with, but one from another universe? just wondering.
The real question is how do they know you end up in another universe. Oh, so that way they can claim it's possible and there is no interference? I believe you can travel forward in time, and perhaps faster than normal, but this multiple universe thing sounds like bull shit in the context of this theory.
@sandozer. That isn't true. Like it or not parallel universes do exist, and they can exist, just think about what Einstein said. He said that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Universes when you think about it, have a sort of organized chaos attached to them, and its because of this, that there is an infinite number of choices attached as well. Our Universe is built on a serious of random choices and probabilities, so why couldn't parallel timelines/timelines exist?
If you can go to Andromeda galaxy instantly, then with a telescope powerful enough to view the earth, you will see the earth 2.5 million years ago, or twice the speed of light you can view the earth 1.25 million years ago, that how time travel works and that not create any paradox.
If you expect to see your ancestors then keep watching "Back to the future movie"
He said we can do whatever we want in the past, cause we could only travel to another dimension. But if the dimensions interact with themselves all the time, it would modify also our future. Nay?
You cant go back thousands of years in the past you can only go back to the day the first T T machine was built ie today then in 100 yrs u cud only travel bk to today capiche!
The parallel universe theory was dreamt up on the basis of a misunderstanding about time travel. Since time travel in a single universe doesnt in fact cause paradoxes then the theory is redundant.
IF the theory had ANY basis in reality then a future traveller would have no concern about making himself known or changing history and yet we see none.
But if the future already existed in this parallel universe, wouldn't these people have such advanced technology that exceeds our technology today, and therefore they have the ability to time travel back to us in the present. However, there hasn't been such a case, therefore concluding that time travel to actual people is not possible.
@whipcream4ya Travelers or messages from the future could not jst pop out of no where in today's technology, unless if weve already invnted some kind of machine that could actually receive or decode some messages & codes that was sent here frm the future. The future that has machines that could transmit messages, codes and stuff back to us(their past or our present). Imagine if we could receive messages that says "SOS, dont do this, dont do that blah blah blah", then that'll save the human race.
So wait... If you time travel the year today 2011 and people talk and then you time travel to the year 200 or when people did not know to talk and you teach them how to talk how will it affect today (year 2011)? -Nataly Age 11
if there is an unlimited amount of parallel universe's it would be imposable to get back to your own one, you may think your home but you really wouldn't be, these questions will never be answered, for anyone who ever builds a time machine would rip a hole in the space time continuum and tare the fabric of life its self, or think of this, we are constantly jumping from parallel universes constantly, with out even noticing and this video wont exist when i wake up tomorrow, there for dmt is life.
Does time travel exist? It's just like asking does God exist or the Devil its all in faith. Nobody knows anything but what they believe its just like asking how did we come up with the idea of cars, planes, and technology like phones and computers when it was a time none of it existed.I think it just takes the right person being born at the right time with a intelligent mind to think of a crazy idea .Call me crazy but thats my opinion.
Sending protons of information is radically powerful. Especially if the time can be hours or days... or weeks.. confirmation of receipt is easy, simply write it down on paper and leave it out (ie sketch it on a desk). We may only be years away from sending data back seconds in time. In years we could be sending back Data days and more...
Suppose there ARE many Parallel Universes and they are all different. What if in other Universes, The concept of "Parallel Universes" is true, but in our universe, the one we are in, That concept is false and there is only one definite Universe?
It could be true, cause then it explains why for so long nobody from the far future has traveled back to now.
In theory time travel is possible. Today's technology is far too primitive to achieve anything close to what is required. We are in the same or worse stage of developing time travel as the scientists back in the 1400's were in developing a working electronic computer of any kind. They had the mathematical theories, but no possible way to apply them. Maybe in a thousand years or so we may be able to do it...?
and when traveling through a wormhole or paralleled gate how does one avoid what deep sea divers call the bends without exploding on the other side of it due to sudden barometric pressure changes the same fate can be faced with teleportation as well unless both teleportation devices happen to be inside a decompression chamber sharing matching air pressures. but to do that to a wormhole would almost be impossible unless done now and then later traversing back. good luck at that......
@Saibot00 If you go back in time to meet yourself then you are the same person but different ages with different memories.
At what point do you think you would remember a trip you haddened taken yet? before you set off? after you have been?
Remember that everything has to happen for the FIRST time and there are no loops created by time travel and therefore no paradoxes created. What you are describing is an impossible loop!
@Saibot00 Yes, you always have cause and effect, you cannot have a scar before you set off because the event hasnt happened yet. It cant magically appear afterwards either because YOU never cut yourself only your earlier self did. In fact you could kill you earlier self and it wouldnt effect you for the same reason, hence paradoxes such as the grandfather paradox dont actually occure through time travel.
So this means, if i now rise from my bed and leave the bed there are thousands of universes where i do different things after that, continue surfing on net, rise up and go crazy mashing everything, rise up and eat sandvich?
A yet more fascination. Einstein created more than any or he thought, and the ability to time travel is oblivious but rather near us. But how can one construct such a pressure bearing device? Life of a parallel universe is there yet not original like mimicry. Consider a mirror for that reason.
Now you have found very basic theory of Buddha uncovered 2500 years ago and monks carry on until today. I mean not Tibet monks, Tibet monks cary only some of Buddha theory. In the period of 2500 years, Tibet monks they added up their own theories. What I meant was Buddhism in S/E asia, Srilanka, Burma, Thailand.
Neither of the universes suffers a paradox? What do you call a fucking billiard ball randomly popping into existence and exiting the hole under your eyes? And what about the other one completely vanishing?
New from Wammo! Travel back in time with your very own time machine, fuck with an infinite number of universes for your own enjoyment then come back to your own as if nothing happened. Operators are standing by, order now!
every person with a time machine would be a billionare
The uncertainty principle may come out of the fact that, mirrored in the future, there are two atoms : one is not inherent to 'when', and one not inherent to 'where', as they are merged in an immeasurable frequency, way beyond Planck's constant, they are 'positioned' by macrophysics in 'space' and 'time' and macro laws act accordingly.Than there is the question of consistency:'a pencil stays a pencil'... or does it?No it doesn't, it deteriorates and is submitted to quantum decay.
I'm guessing the point of his funded "timetraveling" device (which will be complete sooner then we think, ahum...) is to PROOF timetravel to be possible, right? So, you come back to me when proof the principle works is delivered and i'll kiss your feet, which will be never obviously.
His answer that "if time travel were possible you would travel back into another universe preventing paradoxes from happening in your universe" is about as brilliant as saying "if magic dragons existed riding one would transport you to a magical fairyland where rules don't apply anymore AND NONE WOULD EVER KNOW, WOW!"
to be honest the scientists minds are twisted with all of this crap about time travel. now i dont see how jumping into a couple of fuckin lasers are gonna solve the problem. IT WOULD JUST KILL THE PERSON WHO WENT THROUGHT THE LASERS YOU GORMALOSE IDIOTS LOL! =)
Parallel universes this is my explanation of 'ghosts' someone in another universe in the same place at the same time but doing completly different. Or maybe parallel universes are in a different time to us
I don't believe time travelling is ever going to work. Because we haven't even prooft time exist... Maybe time and things like that is just in our head (and of course on our clocs) but is on the world just nothing
Anyone ever seen something "pop out of nowhere" suggesting that "something traveled back in time in another universe"? No? You would suspect that with a possible infinite amount of universes and future time things would be popping out of nowhere all the time. But they don't. Not even once.
This means nothing ever traveled back in time and nothing ever will.
@Doppe1ganger No, time travel is inevitable and when it happens they will find out how easily history can be changed which would destroy the history they came from meaning they cant go back. For that reason they would never make themselves known for fear of changing the time line. If time travellers were here now how would you know? if history had changed how would you know?
If backwards time travel were possible it would be easy enough for someone in the future to post back some future proof of timetravel being possible. So where is it?
If time travel is inevitable then it's inevitable some fucktard travels back in time and destroys ALL history.
@Doppe1ganger If you invented time travel would you send a message back 100 years or 1000 years if you knew it would change history and probably wipe you out?
When time travel inevitably happens someone will or should I say has come back and changed history, but how would you know?
You cant destroy history only change it, the version we all know has you in it but that doesnt prove it hasnt been changed.
@Manoo62 I'm not talking about destroying the concept of history you simple fool, i'm talking about historical fact. Historical fact can't be changed, it can't be destroyed, it can't because paradoxes prevent it.
Whether or not i would be able to be aware of something that logically cannot be is completely fucking irrelevant.
Do you even understand the definition of logic? What you say isn't logic it's an argument from ignorance as you're asserting it's true unless i prove it to be false.
@Doppe1ganger Unfortunately you completely misunderstand the concept of time travel. There are no paradoxes caused by time travel and no endless loops created either. You have free will in the past the same as you do in the future. Physics works the same there as here. So if you travel back in time you can change history to a lesser or greater degree depending on what you do. Those changes move forward and re-write history differently but only the time traveler would be aware of any changes.
@Manoo62 Any change could directly affect the time traveler or time traveling device itself, therefor paradox, therefor it cannot be, it's impossible. I this wasn't the case the the moment even a single particle would travel back in time it would create an unstoppable infinite loop of infinite and instant variations of that particle traveling back in time erasing the entire universe. This hasn't happened therefor it will have never happened.
@Doppe1ganger Unfortunately your inane ramblings are completly incomprehensible, no idea what you are quoting or why? I can only suggest you pay more attention at school (particularly English) and come back when you are capable of stringing a complete sentence together and making a little sense.
@Doppe1ganger Your logic is based on a misconception that creates more questions than answers and cannot stand up to any logical questioning. It is base purely on blind faith that has no place in logical deduction.
@Manoo62 How is my logic "based on a misconception", whereas your line of reasoning is that of the level of a 5 year old's "but how you see invisible people?" which isn't even interesting philosophically, much less relevant scientifically. How does "paradoxes cannot exist per definition" create more questions then it answers? Can you imagine how many questions "paradoxes can exist" would raise? Fuck, you give me reason to think you don't even understand the words you're blurting out. Just STFU
@XizzTheDK That one black guy towards the middle of it is another video where he describes making it. He said in that video that if he were to succeed he wouldn't be able to go back in time but rather send 'messages' between the future (which would have time machines as well.) and the day he created the machine.. Do yah understand?
you never know, the might build the time machine and then receive info on how to make a better one. I guess I'd need to know more about the science behind all this but the idea sounds far fetched to me. . . .How funny it is to say then that time will tell
i don't believe time travel is possible, except for traveling into the future with every second, or reflecting on the past with your memory, both past and future doesn't exist in the present moment. You can travel past the speed of light, but it doesn't send you back in time, it just sends you further away
o crapppp i jus time traveled. i started searching for an answer to time travel about 2 days ago and i m still at the point where i started and have no answer. even though the clock is ticking i m in the same state as i was about 2 days ago. I m the modern world's Einstien.
I don t think time machine is possible, since matter has dissipated into the whole universe and we need to gather all the changed particals and move into the designated prespace.
It sounds corney.because it is,..Time dosn t realy exist so can we move arround in some thing that dosn t really exist,? or can we try and not make the mistake twice,or deal with it??
@97thanu You wouldn't be able to return to exactly your dimension. And even if you could there would be no way of knowing for sure if you're really back there or not.
Malletts project with lasers... the only way we know to bend space is by using a great amount of mass such as in black holes, we also know that lasers are light that is energy and mass is condensed energy. If so, not even with the most powerful lasers created by man we could achieve the effect of small block of any rock, by making a hole in a block of solid rock you would have greater results but it still not enough... i
What if time machines already exist but in a different "time" or "universe" and it was used in series of events planned such as lets say Lincoln’s assassination and booth had just lived among us as someone from the "1800's" yet he had traveled through time knowing things would go wrong if Lincoln lived so he went back in time and killed him
You can hypothesize with any situation you want
And of you go for the
"we are in the present and we haven't figured out" well then any on
Honestly, time travel is impossible. It's a waste of money completely in trying to investigate such a thing. Way to many theories, way to many possible outcomes if it were to be possible. And besides the multiple infinite amounts of parallel universe theory, if possible, would be inevitably useless to our universe, seeing as things would go out, and nothing would come in. It wouldn't benefit us at all, so why bother in the first place. It's all stupid IMO... Stick to movies and fantasy people.
@MismoEnfermo Perhaps it is not possible, but if wormholes are possible then time travel is. OR, perhaps there is -infinite- universes, each has a nano-second delay of what happens, and perhaps me in other universe is done writing this comment.
@iPlayWithPhysics Thank you, for a much more respectable response rather Than Manoo62's. If a wormhole was possible, then yes, you are right, time travel would most definitely be a possibility. Unfortunately, there is no observational evidence proving a wormholes existence. It is a theory derived from the Big Bang, which is also, yet again another theory. Theories cannot be created from another theory unless the initial theory was first proven, otherwise its all just fantasy land.
@MismoEnfermo Luckily there are plenty of visionary people in the world who go into science and engineering to advance human knowledge. If it was down to 'high achievers' like you we would all still be in caves using stone hammers saying 'whats the point' everytime someone suggested something new.......
@Manoo62 Allow me to let you know a bit about myself. I'm currently a Production Manager and Hydraulic Engineer for a company. For you to come out this to someone such as myself is rather amusing. So not only am I someone trying to further develop the human race, I also manage such products being created. I am someone who is a visionary. But I am not someone who visions of fantasy land, then tries to create it.
@MismoEnfermo So you are saying that world famous physicists such as Godel, Tipler, Gott and Mallett who have all found different solutions to Einsteins equations that permit time travel have all got their heads in the clouds!!! Basically you know better than all of them and can confidently say time travel is impossible....and you expect to be taken seriously?!?!! You also clearly have no comprehension of what constitutes a theory and have the 'vision' of a 5 year old.
@Manoo62 They have not found solutions... research your facts a little more. They each have come up with different theories. Mallet is talking about a Cylinder of lasers rotating rapidly to bend time, and then to send something into the future. The idea is absolutely ridiculous. Its similar to saying that if we go to a laser light show right now, we're going to all time travel. Give me a break. Like I said before, I have vision, but I DO NOT dream of Fantasy Land, then try to create it.
@MismoEnfermo Your an idiot, they have all found mathmatical proofs of time travel using Einsteins equations that do not break the laws of physics. You have obviously never read any books on the subject and have no idea what mallett's theory is about either, clearly your understanding of the subject is child like. You dont even know what the word 'theory' means, try a dictionary. You dont dream about fantasy land because your in it you idiot. Stick to cartoons they are more your level.
@Manoo62 Listen, Cinderella. Mathematical equations don't prove the existence of time travel. Mallet's idea is just as I said. Your running in circles with your words and speaking nothing of substance... All you try an do is insult. You want to sit here and say I watch cartoons when your avatar is that of a cartoon? Seriously kid? Whats this say about yourself? Give me something of substance, or be quiet. Because right now, your nothing more than a waste of ACTUAL time and words.
@MismoEnfermo Ha ha ha ha science and engineering are built on mathamatics but it means nothing to you!!!! as I thought your a 14 year old cyber clown who doesnt know shit about anything.
Feel free to explain the principle of mallett's time machine and why you think it wont work, ha ha ha this should be fucking interesting.....oh wait .....no it wont be.
I can guarantee you wont answer this question.............
@Manoo62 Your language explains your low class naive personality perfectly. You are mistaken, science and engineering does not have to rely off of mathematics entirely. Maybe you didn't catch the part that I'm a HYDRAULIC ENGINEER. I will explain Mallet's stupid principles and why it won't work and hopefully YOU can understand. But first, don't ignore what I questioned in my last comment towards you. Whats the deal with your little cartoon avatar? Whos really the 14 year old cyber clown, kid?
@MismoEnfermo Yeh right, I did notice your pathetic claim to be an engineer I ignored it as obviouly fake but the fact your only 19 kind of prooves it.
I am sure your explination of Mallett's work will be most entertaining....
@Manoo62 Fine, let me rephrase that. Your Profile Image... what is it of? a cartoon. And yes, my age is 19. I'm sorry your ignorant mind believes its impossible for someone my age to be an engineer. So how old are you for that matter, big shot? Your profile doesn't display how old you are, I have a feeling thats for a reason. And again, when you answer my question, I will give the explanation of Mallett's Theory. Also, answer this for me, what exactly IS "time"? This will be good.
@Manoo62 You are a fool. while others go out to parties and get plastered, since the age of 14, I have always been studying hard to become what I am today. It doesn't matter, I don't care if you believe me or not, you simply display your ignorance on how one can become a engineer at young age. And, Wrong. Time is a unit of measurement, nothing more, nothing less. The idea of controlling time was presented by Issac Newton. It is known as Newtonian time, and to this day, it is yet to be proven.
@MismoEnfermo As I have said I have said there is zero possibility of you having anything to do with engineering. The fact that you think someone would believe you are an engineering manager at 19!!!! only goes to show how dumb you are.
Newton believed in absolute unchanging time he never suggested it could be controlled.
Back to the video, you were going to explain why Mallett was wrong......

supposing this theory about the infinite number of universes is correct, how could you be sure that when you left, what you'd be returning to was your own original timestream? i mean, would you have just disappeared forever to the people who knew you, popping 'back' into a new universe where either there were two of you or nobody knew you at all? and wouldn't that render his "time machine" useless as it isn't his future that he's communicating with, but one from another universe? just wondering.
off1in3wonderland 4 months ago
I think the universe is full of infinite possibilities. We just have to figure them out.
phoneke 4 months ago
The real question is how do they know you end up in another universe. Oh, so that way they can claim it's possible and there is no interference? I believe you can travel forward in time, and perhaps faster than normal, but this multiple universe thing sounds like bull shit in the context of this theory.
sandozer7 5 months ago

The parallel universe theory was dreamt up on the basis of a misunderstanding about time travel. Since time travel in a single universe doesnt in fact cause paradoxes then the theory is redundant.
IF the theory had ANY basis in reality then a future traveller would have no concern about making himself known or changing history and yet we see none.
Manoo62 5 months ago 8
But if the future already existed in this parallel universe, wouldn't these people have such advanced technology that exceeds our technology today, and therefore they have the ability to time travel back to us in the present. However, there hasn't been such a case, therefore concluding that time travel to actual people is not possible.
whipcream4ya 5 months ago
@whipcream4ya Travelers or messages from the future could not jst pop out of no where in today's technology, unless if weve already invnted some kind of machine that could actually receive or decode some messages & codes that was sent here frm the future. The future that has machines that could transmit messages, codes and stuff back to us(their past or our present). Imagine if we could receive messages that says "SOS, dont do this, dont do that blah blah blah", then that'll save the human race.

Manoo62 7 months ago
@Manoo62 How is my past self not me?
Saibot00 7 months ago
@Saibot00 If you go back in time to meet yourself then you are the same person but different ages with different memories.
At what point do you think you would remember a trip you haddened taken yet? before you set off? after you have been?
Remember that everything has to happen for the FIRST time and there are no loops created by time travel and therefore no paradoxes created. What you are describing is an impossible loop!
Manoo62 7 months ago
@Manoo62 So if i went to the past and told my past self to cut himself..I wouldn't have the mark now because that wasn't me?
Saibot00 7 months ago
@Saibot00 Yes, you always have cause and effect, you cannot have a scar before you set off because the event hasnt happened yet. It cant magically appear afterwards either because YOU never cut yourself only your earlier self did. In fact you could kill you earlier self and it wouldnt effect you for the same reason, hence paradoxes such as the grandfather paradox dont actually occure through time travel.

Doppe1ganger 9 months ago
@Doppe1ganger No, time travel is inevitable and when it happens they will find out how easily history can be changed which would destroy the history they came from meaning they cant go back. For that reason they would never make themselves known for fear of changing the time line. If time travellers were here now how would you know? if history had changed how would you know?
Manoo62 9 months ago
@Manoo62 You're a logical noob.
If backwards time travel were possible it would be easy enough for someone in the future to post back some future proof of timetravel being possible. So where is it?
If time travel is inevitable then it's inevitable some fucktard travels back in time and destroys ALL history.
Yet, i still exist, how weird?!? NOT!
Doppe1ganger 9 months ago
@Doppe1ganger If you invented time travel would you send a message back 100 years or 1000 years if you knew it would change history and probably wipe you out?
When time travel inevitably happens someone will or should I say has come back and changed history, but how would you know?
You cant destroy history only change it, the version we all know has you in it but that doesnt prove it hasnt been changed.
Has your logic taken a day off?
Manoo62 9 months ago
@Manoo62 I'm not talking about destroying the concept of history you simple fool, i'm talking about historical fact. Historical fact can't be changed, it can't be destroyed, it can't because paradoxes prevent it.
Whether or not i would be able to be aware of something that logically cannot be is completely fucking irrelevant.
Do you even understand the definition of logic? What you say isn't logic it's an argument from ignorance as you're asserting it's true unless i prove it to be false.
Doppe1ganger 9 months ago
@Doppe1ganger Unfortunately you completely misunderstand the concept of time travel. There are no paradoxes caused by time travel and no endless loops created either. You have free will in the past the same as you do in the future. Physics works the same there as here. So if you travel back in time you can change history to a lesser or greater degree depending on what you do. Those changes move forward and re-write history differently but only the time traveler would be aware of any changes.
Manoo62 9 months ago
@Manoo62 Any change could directly affect the time traveler or time traveling device itself, therefor paradox, therefor it cannot be, it's impossible. I this wasn't the case the the moment even a single particle would travel back in time it would create an unstoppable infinite loop of infinite and instant variations of that particle traveling back in time erasing the entire universe. This hasn't happened therefor it will have never happened.
Doppe1ganger 9 months ago

@Manoo62 How is my logic "based on a misconception", whereas your line of reasoning is that of the level of a 5 year old's "but how you see invisible people?" which isn't even interesting philosophically, much less relevant scientifically. Fuck, you give me reason to think you don't even understand the words you're blurting out. Just STFU

MismoEnfermo 11 months ago
@MismoEnfermo Perhaps it is not possible, but if wormholes are possible then time travel is. OR, perhaps there is -infinite- universes, each has a nano-second delay of what happens, and perhaps me in other universe is done writing this comment.
iPlayWithPhysics 11 months ago
@iPlayWithPhysics Thank you, for a much more respectable response rather Than Manoo62's. If a wormhole was possible, then yes, you are right, time travel would most definitely be a possibility. Unfortunately, there is no observational evidence proving a wormholes existence. It is a theory derived from the Big Bang, which is also, yet again another theory. Theories cannot be created from another theory unless the initial theory was first proven, otherwise its all just fantasy land.
MismoEnfermo 11 months ago
@MismoEnfermo Luckily there are plenty of visionary people in the world who go into science and engineering to advance human knowledge. If it was down to 'high achievers' like you we would all still be in caves using stone hammers saying 'whats the point' everytime someone suggested something new.......
Manoo62 11 months ago
@Manoo62 Allow me to let you know a bit about myself. I'm currently a Production Manager and Hydraulic Engineer for a company. For you to come out this to someone such as myself is rather amusing. So not only am I someone trying to further develop the human race, I also manage such products being created. I am someone who is a visionary. But I am not someone who visions of fantasy land, then tries to create it.
MismoEnfermo 11 months ago
@MismoEnfermo So you are saying that world famous physicists such as Godel, Tipler, Gott and Mallett who have all found different solutions to Einsteins equations that permit time travel have all got their heads in the clouds!!! Basically you know better than all of them and can confidently say time travel is impossible....and you expect to be taken seriously?!?!! You also clearly have no comprehension of what constitutes a theory and have the 'vision' of a 5 year old.
Manoo62 11 months ago
@Manoo62 They have not found solutions... research your facts a little more. They each have come up with different theories. Mallet is talking about a Cylinder of lasers rotating rapidly to bend time, and then to send something into the future. The idea is absolutely ridiculous. Its similar to saying that if we go to a laser light show right now, we're going to all time travel. Give me a break. Like I said before, I have vision, but I DO NOT dream of Fantasy Land, then try to create it.
MismoEnfermo 11 months ago
@MismoEnfermo Your an idiot, they have all found mathmatical proofs of time travel using Einsteins equations that do not break the laws of physics. You have obviously never read any books on the subject and have no idea what mallett's theory is about either, clearly your understanding of the subject is child like. You dont even know what the word 'theory' means, try a dictionary. You dont dream about fantasy land because your in it you idiot. Stick to cartoons they are more your level.
Manoo62 11 months ago

Also I dont have an avatar.

MismoEnfermo 11 months ago
@MismoEnfermo There is zero possibility that you know anything about engineering.
Time is the difference between yesterday and today.
And the problem with Mallett's theory is..................?
