I´m about to buy a PC with exactly the same graphics card, Core i5 650 CPU, 4 Gigs of DDR3 Ram and 1000 Gigs HDD, and first of all I wanted to know if this card can run every game smoothly on medium or high Resolution settings and then I also wanted to ask if it is possible to connect the Pc to 5 monitors because of the HD 5570 - Eyefinity which allows you to connect 3 monitors to it and the i5 650 processor plus 2 monitors because of the Dual-Core CPU?

m plannin to get this card, cause in my country the gt 240 and hd 5570 the price almost don have difference :O gt 240 is slightly better :D but i have 300w PSU :O

hd 5570 consumes less power which means it has a low temperature !!

@thetrialshot 5670 better than 240 i swear, and just like 4670.. uses little power.

I run 4670 and amd phenom X3 8400 2gb corsair ram on 500 watts with no problem. But its not ure psu wattage, what about the amperes on it?

@vgvgvg7412 I think the 5670 is probably the best bang for your buck but if you want more oomph I would go for the 5770, if your really want performance get one of the new 5850's

I want to get this for my media center, but was concerned - do I get sound through the HDMI on this card, and if I do - how the crap would that work? Does this have an on-board sound chip, or does it channel sound from the sound card somehow?

Currently, my media-center PC is using a VGA/HDMI converter with a sound-in, but if I could bypass that - it'd be awesome, as it's just another piece of hardware with LED lights under my TV.

Yep, it's got a sound chip built in and can do HDMI sound of all types.

@darkfalzx you have to use a loob cable, from your mother board to this card ( if you have an onboard sound card) and if you have a pci sound card the same thing but from your sound card to the graphic card
