I would have to disagree with those that say she should just stick to pop. She actually gave it a really good attempt and I would put her against any other pop singer with this song. Oh, and No, O Mio Babbino Caro is NOT less demanding. (highest note on this song is a G, highest on Babbino is an A and sang many times) And her coloratura was clean and well executed. And the portamento was artistic impression. It was appropriate at the end of the song.

okay here's my opinion: I've heard Jewel doing some some other classical stuff, and I just think she should stick to pop. She's not awful singing classical, but she's better at a pop sound.

Her voice urks me. Her Vowels on the crescendo to Penero Vamero were good but she did something weird at the end like she was singing for a Snow White Audition and she gets froggy. YUCK. Just my opinion Sorry Jewel Fans. But this chick needs to retire that ASAP
