just because a country is modernizing does not mean they will lose their religion. In that case, then Algeria already lost its religion when it was taken over by the french and modernized. The way a city looks has nothing to do with wat is inside someone. If u are a good muslim and your faith is tight, then it does not matter how the city is going to turn out, u should still believe. And if the modernization process does weaken the muslim belief, then their Iman was not strong to begin with....

Algerians from Tlemcen are originally from Turkey.
Algerians in Algiers are also a mix of Amazigh, Arab, Turks and French.
Algerians in the south are black Africans and Amazigh(Touareg)
Algerians in Oran are also a mix of Spaniards, Arabs and Amazigh. In Algeria you can not tell who is an Amazigh and who is an Arab.

Arabic was never the only language in Algeria. the Ottomans came to Algeria and ruled Algeria for 400 years and then Spain rules Oran, Algiers and Annaba for 70 years and then France for 132 years. So Arabic was completely wiped out from Algeria but president Houari Boumadine imposed the Arabization program to stop the French influence.

i have mixed feelings about this ..ist i think algeria could profet from this because more tourist means money ..people will bye algerian art pottery clothes etc all the beautiful stock of algeria..but tourist means more money and it will raise the living cost for the algeria people as if its not expensive enough ..and what about islam?? tourists brings alot of shameless people..does algeria realy need this??forgein men coming and taking your women ..

c'est une copie coller de plusieurs oeuvres dans le monde , l'opera sydney,tours de manhattan .....ect , peut mieux faire avec moins de pastiche et beaucoup de sobrieté qui reflette plus judicieusement la culture algerienne.
