cool clip, i happened to notice a couple of ufo's they alway's seem to be around when things like this happen - if you are interested there is one that goe's across
they middle of screen from right to left at 21 secs and another hanging around
the tall slim building at 39 secs. this clip would be worth watching on a big screen
Um it was that bad, trees and power lines have fallen down in the citys below the cyclone, with people without power and roofing tiles off !, and where the cyclone was, there places have been torn, broken, so how dare you even say dont whinge, you probably have never felt a cyclone. theyve lost everything and you people cant give them sympathy. People may not have DIED, but THERE ARE MISSING PEOPLE!
im from townsville this got very over relatedly summd up n talked about. wasnt that bad here and we need to focus n send our thaught to the people in tully and inisfail wer it hit the worst. its just devostation everywer up ther its horrible
what a load of shite i thought this was going to be exciting with aussies flying around and shit but no just boring shite thats no worse than here in UK ( Newcastle ) at the moment
@BURROWSHEAD Incorrect. We simply used proper warning systems and evacuated/prepared correctly.. The cyclone itself was more powerful then Katrina. If it went over a city it would have caused devestation. Grow up.
@cyclingheroify this is just a typical storm in Australia, Yasi became destructive around 10 pm till about 3 am with about 250 km/h winds, so most likely you would be crying in your bathroom like a little girl, kthxbai
@ninjaskills3000 so, no electricity? You couldn't get a cold beer then? I guess that'd make most Aussies cry - but I'd be okay - I drink beer at room temperature.
@ninjaskills3000 only girls drink ale in Australia? I don't want to be mean, but your lager tastes like piss, that's why it has to be so cold. But, yeah, I can imagine an Aussie in a cyclone crying because his beer is warm. seems fair enough to me. Whatever. Stop wingeing. It wasn't that bad, just a lot of hysterical tv reporters
@ninjaskills3000 whatever, why don't you go have a whinge to someone who gives a crap? No one died, it wasn't that bad. Just relax. If you were up on the coast - go make a video and show me the area damage. I believe you were there as much as I believe your ninja skills! Whinge, whinge, whinge
@cubeyuk yeah, he rigged up a generator in his bathroom without an outlet for the fumes. That's sad. I don't know why he had a generator in his bathroom. Electricity for the beer cooler? Hero.
This is totally normal for this time of the year in the tropics. Great footage. We have been pretty lucky here in Townsville, could have been so much worse.
It is called a Pole Shift. We are in the midst of it as we speak. Please research. You will not be told by the mainstream media. This is a natural process and in no way should we be cavalier about what is to come.
Too many wierd things are happening at the wrong times at the wrong places this world is near its end my friends, Whats it going to be next? snow in the sahara? WHATS GOING ON?.
Thanks for posting this. My b/f lives there but is currently crossing the pacific to come and see me. hope he has a home to return to. Stay safe. our prayers are with you.
BTW there is an old fort about 100 east of the top of the walking track if things get real rough. You could take shelter there and anchor yourself to the ground somehow. Goodluck Gandalf stormcrow chaser.
Pause at 0:03 and look from left to right. The sky goes from light blue, to pink, to light green. Powerpuff Girls.

I'm in townsville, and the worst was between 10pm and 4 am. However if u want to see what havoc it caused to more northern towns watch:
(Cyclone Yasi: Queensland takes stock of damage) on youtube
And a side note to all the volunteers and contractors working up here.... council ergon army etc, great work keep it up
Good luck everyone up there.
