I have been hunting so many Lagiacrus horns to upgrade my weapons that he is so easy for me to hunt and or capture. I guess it helps that the fact is I'm using fully upgraded low rank Lagiacrus armor and using the Rathian/Rathalos Long Sword "Wyvern Blade 'Fire.'"

Your videos are very inspiring. I do have a question though, I noticed your armor set in the video consists of Ignot and Rathian. In your skills, the Rathian is giving you +4 on hearing, each. The Rathian I am able to forge only provides +3 and +2 for hearing. I have only played offline to this point, so is there something I am missing?

@jguardian I gemmed in earplug gems that give + to hearing. I think you need Rathian webbings for them.

@9KKiRbYY9 you mean from the ones right after Lagiacrus to the post- Ceadeus, right? Well you need to hunt all the Large monsters and repel the Ceadeus. In order to unlock some of them you have to do quests like Heat Exhaustion though.

Well, Shuriken, it really depends on your weapon type. If you're a lancer work on the intricacies of countering and shield-advancing. If you use GS work on charge attacks, sword and shield maximimizing damage and team support (same for bowgun), hammer practice KOs and dodging, long sword makng the most of your combos and fade slashes... I could go on and on. I'd be glad to tutor you on weapons or armor techniques (Sir Matt)

@lastikovdb Yes; I would recommend going to the Deserted Isle (preferably high rank). Go to area 5 and to the West of area 9 (between it's entrance and the or to 6) and catch bugs in the shady area. Usually one of the spots gives only spiderwebs for the most part so you can get a few. Also get Monste Fluids; in online webs are often up or trade for them.

@lastikovdb I do it online. No matter what rank you are, the trading lady offers 5 of them very often in exchange for 1 Monster Fluid. You can get lots of that by doing some offline bug-killing quests.

Check at the start of the video and you'll see his gear whe he changes from his GS gear. Also for diablos I would recommend a lance; tusk lance if you beat barioth first. For barioth SnS works great; the Djinn is a fantastic choice. The best way to get plates is to fight high rank Los or Ian.You hava an 8% chance to get a plate.

your best bet is high rank royal ludroths, they are the easiest thing to kill that drop a wyvern stone, and they have the same chance of dropping it as all the others that actually drop it. Just break everything and cap it.

my first kill of rathalos was with the hammer too. i was wondering how much damage this weapon does, now that i see you destroying the rathalos i think this will be my favorite weapon against him. i used the hammer with water dmg but now that i saw you using the lagiacrushammer i am not sure if this was the right decision. would you say that thunder is the weak point of the dragons? i also find a rustshard ,a hammer with dragon dmg comes out. do you think maybe this is the right elemental dmg?
