Testimony meetings are supposed to revive other members into the spirit.
You will not find these loud, copy cat preachers in other Christian churches.
To me, it's kooky and weird.
Take a closer look at your own religion. Right in the Book of Mormon there are many instances of Christian revival, praise the Lord meetings.
