o.O really?! usually I'm a perfectionist when it comes to retouching ;) and it didn't take us that long. the animation was done in one long night. but tests and preparation beforehand took us quite a while. and thanks for your comment ^.^
thank you! the pre-production (printing, cutting out and playing with LEGO) took us about a day and a half, the animation itself was done in one night so we wouldn't loose the flow. but it was a long night ;) post-production took another day or two.
unfortunately that's one of the things we noticed a couple of days when we were finished and watched it again. i just hoped nobody would notice or care. i was mistaken :)
hehe! you *have* good eyes! unfortunately we didn't have an nes plus controller at hand during animation. so we faked it with a PS2 controller and hoped nobody would notice. but you did. congrats! :)
Sorry I just accidentally removed your post to the "Preview Version" instead of hitting "Reply" so I'll answered it here:
Yes, the Sony Alpha 100 is a very good camera and I had no troubles whatsoever. Only real bad cameras fails during shooting stop-motion films. Usually a professional camera's shutter is good for (at least!) half a million exposures, so don't worry. I've had a Canon Powershot myself (an A20). It wasn't bad but with a digital SLR you just have way more control over your image.
thanks mate. it looked nearly perfect on the first attempt --> surprised me too! that's why i put up the preview version to prove that I was just a lucky guy that day ;)
Oh sorry i havent seen the full video yet,ITS AWSOME,when i saw the Preview of this movie i said OMG he used cut outs to make the orignal mario game animation,YOU ROCK!
Can you teach me how to such good animations like that?

Why don't you do something as cool as your "bullet time mockup" video ?
klb2000000 4 years ago
cause that was not the job definition. plus it would've been more even work than an animated short like this is.

Why is the picture looks like its a part of the PS2?
