  • Through infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, and confession (just to mention a few), the Catholic church has developed a system of salvation through WORKS. God's word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works". "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)

  • @kiwichristian2009 why do you ignore that paul says? Paul says, you cant have faith alone. he says faith without works is dead. you must read the bible as a whole...remember what jesus taught us through parables, the man who knocked on the heaven's door jesus answers the door. the man says i spoke of your name i believed in you, and what does jesus do? he says "i dont know you" it is because the man did believe in jesus but he had no works...at all.

  • Beautiful

  • Good video. Another thing that people seem to forget, Mary, the Mother of Jesus initiated His first public miracle; she went to Him and said that they were out of wine (at a wedding they were attending). Then She said , whatever my son tells you to do, then do it. And they filled up the canters with water and Jesus turned them into wine. Blessed is Mary amongst women!

  • Blessed are those who defend their faith!

Us Catholics are under attack!!! I recently lost my Mother to Protestanism and Ironically my mother's name is Mary please pray for Her so She can come back home The Catholic Faith

I Love You Jesus and Blessed Mother pray for us so one day we can unite in Love

    AMEN

  • Your pretty much saying that its bad for me to show you a verse from the Bible.

Nope its pretty bad to worship Mary.

P.s. You can say that you don't, but what about rosary's, you pray to her, thats WORSHIP.

It might not be considered straight up worship.

But when it get's to the point where you make her equal to Jesus in the CATHOLIC church thats gotta be worship.

  • I didnt say that...why dont you read what I said...and why dont you stop putting words and actions to the Catholics...it is apparent that you have NO clue what the Catholic's do...we do NOT worship Mary...sorry to disappoint you...do you realize how silly you look when you (a non catholic...an uneducated non catholic) tell me (a catholic) what you THINK we believe???? look...lets not stray away from your first agusation...

  • any "praying" to mary is an extension of respect in hopes that she will pray for us. the point of a rosary is to focus on the mysteries of christ's life (each decade of beads is used to concentrate on christ's sufferings and doing in life) we do not consider her equal to jesus because she is not divine. get your facts straight please before making allegations against the largest and first christian faith

  • Exodus20:4 You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

  • yes you are so right we are not to worship any images...and thank goodness we dont....see you need to read carefully what the bible says...it does say that we should not carve images to worship them...we dont however it doesnt prevent us to make images...take a look at ex 25;18-19 "make two cherubim of beaten gold...Num. 21;8-9 "moses made bronze serpent and put on pole"..it says we can make images but it says we can NOT worship them...we dont worship them...read the bible carefully

  • Well, then obviously you take it too literally!

You realize that The Bible is NOT always to be taken literal.

Kind of like when Jesus broke the bread, and poured the wine and said it was his blood and body..

You catholics take it literal. Missing the whole point.

  • oh THAT is just rich...so you pick a verse and that is suppose to be taken literally and the verses I showed you is not? look you cant pick and chose...you falsely accused us for making images and worshipping them...so not true...the bible says do NOT make any image and WORSHIP them....which we dont...it says that it is ok to make images as i pointed out to you..see when it conflicts with what YOU are trying to accuse you brush it off and say something else..you need to read the bible carefully

  • Yes, you are right. I agree with you.

  • Very nice but I'm confused....about the permentnt virgin part...Matthew 12:46 says "While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him." This would indicating that Jesus had earthly siblings. Can you clear this up a little please?

  • hey yes...if you take a look at the description box you will get your question answered better than I can give it to you in this comment box...

if you have any more questions feel free and I will clear them up for you...

    and thank you
