  • So I did a bunch of quick research just now to find out about the kids in this vid. Turns out some of them were later found dead.. One of the girls at the end were killed by her mother and buried in the back yard. But there were a few that returned home. Regardless.. Pretty fucking cool of the band to do that. I guess they released other versions in other countries with kids from that specific country.

i got caught by the police before i could leave town.

seeing this makes me wonder what would have happened had we been "successful" in running...

  • @inutitanic 9 times of out time probably not.I too ran away for a couple of weeks from home and what I discovered in that time has molded me into a person I never though I would be.I have different outlooks on life and now I enjoy every second of my life. What I saw on those 2 weeks were bums, crack addicts, hookers, strippers, gang members, and suicidal man.Not a day goes by were I think I could have easily ended up as them.

  • Who will listen to this in 2030?

  • Love this song, but not all who wander are lost

  • I FREAKING LOVE THIS SONG !!!!!! I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT !!!!

  • No matter how old are you, listening this song is longing of something, I don't know how better to say these feelings... It's part of us.

  • The whole video is tragic but the part with the baby being stolen is so sad to watch every time. Yet I keep playing this video day after day, hoping and praying these people found their way home everytime. Still, when you have a child that young, you shouldn't ever let them out of your sight for any period of time.

  • @strngrthnplpfctn the baby at the end thomas gibsons father ended up killing him he was a sherrif in oregon.spent like 8 years in jail for it,still 2 this day denys his any involvment with his missing/dead son

  • I wonder how many of these people are still missing...?

  • Keep showing your love to other people. You never know when it will be the last time you can do it.

  • AWESOME TUNE!!!!! What happened to music like this?? Hell yea, good memories!!

  • Wrong way on a one way track..

  • @SweezyBell true

  • Stupid Huh? What if it was your brother or sister dipshit?

  • this is a stupid ass corny crybaby song

  • @abbevillehwy Not to be rude, but if you hate it so much, why are you watching it and bothering to take the time to comment on it? And you mustn't forget, many families were reunited because of this song and music video

  • @abbevillehwy then whyd you come here?

  • some of these people were found from this video

  • What a great effin song.

  • groundhog day

  • 142 people wanna disappear

  • when i listen to songs like this i feel realy unlucky because the real music is lost and they are only looking the appearance of the person that sings...i hope in future this change

  • Who the hell is VEVO?

  • Because of the monster of a second wife I had my beloved son nearly ran away. Luckily I saw where my loyalties had to be, and with help from my mom. we didn't lose him. Parents, love your children. Be their parent first and their friend when they need one.

  • @medros74 Sadly not every parent is like you. I wish my parents (mother mostly) could take parenting classes from someone like you.

  • I'm listening to this in 1992. When the world didn't suck.

  • @ClassicRawkk yeah! the "our" age of innocence!

  • @ClassicRawkk The world always sucked.

  • I love the lyrics to this song. Runaway train, never going back can refer to many things in your life whether it is addictions, drama in your life, or a relationship gone bad.

  • This song - and more to the point, this film clip - needs a revival. This still happens today... Anything that can be done is vital...

  • @houthoofd13 They kids as they showed in the video, came almost every home. I think it was 2 or 3 that they never found. But thanks to this video so where many families together again.

  • @houthoofd13

I know a couple of them (think they were German kids) were found dead in Australia a long time ago and not long after the song was released – murdered by a serial killer! Very sad.

  • Ok I know this band didn't ever have enough credibility, but it's still an awesome song. I was thinking of covering it and putting my version of it on my own channe but naah, I think this version is good enough on it's own.

  • This video had a pretty big impact on me when i was 10. It was sad and kinda creepy. 20 years down the road i sit and watch it and wonder; "what the hell happend to music videos!". What happend to the music. Where did it all go.

  • @wowomfglmao Amen to that.

  • @wowomfglmao

It went to plastic, and to insurance companies/banks/telecomunication companies tv advertising

  • @wowomfglmao Bowling For Soup said the same thing.

  • Searching for 90's songs is my best part of free time.

  • @darkac1 80s music is better, but 90s were also great

  • @darkac1 Indeed! I've been doing the same for the past couple of months (glad to know I'm not the only one hehe)

  • Aaaaawwwwwweeeesome song! :-)

  • one of the lost forgotten songs that have a real impact

  • 20 years ago, wow!

  • i thought of this song while i was reserching MK-ultra (mind control) cuz thats where alot of missing kids end up for sex slavery and we pay for it with our tax $ and our tithes. the discovery channel (accidently) discovered it, and then helped cover it back up by reimbursing the crew but then they banned the episode from the air. "franklin cover up." whistleblowers in this story include an ex-fbi agent, an ex-senator, a pro photographer and 3 child victims (1 won a million in civil court)

  • somehow i'm neither here or there

  • This song makes me proud of being from Minnesota.

  • I always loved this song, but I never knew what it was about. T_T
