@matriemb Yeah, but this fits in your pocket. I have to say that it really is pretty awesome. I would happily get a 3DS just for this, if I had the money.

However, I won't. Kojima has always favoured Sony over any other company, and it's worth keeping in mind that there are already four MGS games released for PSP. This will most likely be a one off thing for 3DS, with limited releases in future (though Twin Snakes a was Nintendo exclusive). In any case, I'd take Peace Walker over this any day.

@TheNeutralFan The only reason why mgs was originally on psx was because the psx unlike the n64 the psx could handle multiple disc swaps unlike the cartridges of the n64 and now kojima widening his audience with this and the HD collection and rising on 360

@MrIndiemusic101 Yeah, but Kojima's history of favouring Playstation over other platforms coupled with the Vita's superiority to the 3DS will, IMO, result in portable Metal Gears continuing to favour Sony.

Kojima has already announced a version of the HD Collection as a Vita title, and, though it was just shown at E3 as a tech demo, it has been demonstrated of being capable of running MGS4 in more or less full flow, so I'd be surprised if we don't see a port of it at some point.

Nice, but it would have been better to have made it in the PS3 with real HD graphics and the new 3D technology that Sony is gonna use for it's game!!! I mean, the Nintendo 3DS version is a slight improvement in graphics, but it will never compare to the improvements the game would have made by being a PS3 Exclusive 3D game!!!

The 3DS uses new 3D technology, the PS3 does not, and if they were as obsessed with graphics graphics as you they would choose the 360(way stronger GPU than the PS3) or PC which can do better than any console. Now go away you PS3 fanboy.

i don't think this is going to be a very good remake. I for one liked the whole camouflage setup where you had to change camo to avoid detection. I hated the sneaking suit used in the portable MGS games because it sorta took the fun out of it for me of course. The story is basically the same with a little bit of additions and some 3-d makeup to make it look better. This is probably going to turn out like Twin Snakes basically how its not that good as a game, but very rare in the end.
