The Milford Track was the best thing I did when I was in NZ. The weather was perfect. No rain at all. Of course I didn't see waterfalls but all the trip was just outstanding. I met the nicest people in the huts and the rangers always friendly and funny. Thanks for posting. I got a short video about my trip on You Tube too.

Hi NiceHeadMR, the weather was no problem really. I was wearing some great gear - Icebreaker wool and Scarpa shoes. The rain was actually a bonus as the waterfalls were amazing to see.

When I went we had fine, sunny weather, most of the time. The waterfalls were not as spectacular, but I had dry feet. I want to go back, and walk it in the rain, to see the difference. Very beautiful in either case.
