  • ughh, stuphens...

  • awesome video

  • Love the lights, the best is the roto-ray though

  • i love the spinner lights on the front those are sooooo cool and rare too!!

  • roto-rays are rare? i didnt think so. maybe you just say theyre rare cause you dont see them much anymore

  • They are almost non-existant on the West Coast.

Seperate thought: Gotta love it when the Q messes up the Camera's sound.

  • were i live alot of apparatus hav them

  • Why is it chipping sound at 0:37?

  • i think the wind

  • i love the spinners on the front! you dont see that very often

  • They're technical name is a roto-ray, and they're pretty common on the east coast. I like them too.

  • i think thats the first truck ive ever seen one on... im a volunteer firefighter in indiana and ive never seen one... nice trucks also... excuse me nice engine and nice truck lol for the nitpickers...

  • They're pretty rare there in Indiana, and here in Illinois. Mostly out there on the east coast, and kinda rare anywhere else.

  • or buck eyes thats wat my dad calles them..

  • well im on the east coast and i hardly see them anywhares

  • we hav several stations that have em including mine and a station that runs all sutphen

  • That truck on the far right is a real beauty (it's a Seagrave!!)!!!

  • Okay Okay that ENGINE on the far right is a real beauty (it's a Seagrave).

    Better?

  • Dude, chill out. Its not a car is it? Or a van or a bus or a UFO. Its a truck! This truck also happens to be what some would call an "engine", but its still based on a truck... Besides, its stupid lingo if you ask me. They're all trucks and they all have engines. If you call them something sensible and intuitive like "pumper" or "aerial" or "rescue", then everyone gets it right and we don't have to listen to aggro nitpickers go outta their mind about it.

  • Is that other truck a reserve engine?

  • me neither but there rlly kewl

  • i never understood the spinner lights on the front ive only seen a few engines with em

  • Those "spinner lights" are called Roto-Ray lights...they're popular in the mid-Atlantic, particularly in DC, Prince George's County, Md. and Arlington County, VA.

  • They also combine movement and light which makes for an effective warning device.

  • Unless you've seen one in person, you can't get the full effect in a video. Especially at night!
