This is more like a classic demon encounter than an alien abduction - no alien craft, no bright light even, no being 'taken' anywhere, no being examined or probed. This is not to say that aliens, demons (faeries, aliens, other mythological beings) are not part and parcel of the same underlying phenomenon. She wakes and to find her room has changed. In sleep paralysis, not only is the entity hallucinated but so too is the environment - sometimes almost (tho' never quite) perfectly.

so finally moved a part of my body and when I was "waking up".. voice and figure was gone and it was like my eye lids were opening but to the same closet door i was seeing in paralysis state...I donno how to explain...

strange similarity is that few days later I had another sleep paralysis with some black shadowy figure surround by fire at the end of my bed crawling towards me then was scared shitless and woke up crying...

Actually, I was asked to be part of a video on sleep paralysis - I was unpleasantly surprised to find after it was edited that it was focused on the alien abduction part. I have experienced sleep paralysis since I was a child, but I did not understand what was happening until the "demon dream." If it had always been abduction dreams, I would probably never have told anyone and not found out it was a sleep disorder. I made the video because now that I understand it, I control it when it happens.

The "demon dream" was way more terrifying than the "alien abduction" dreams. I could even smell burning. But it was also the demon dream that clued me in that something else was wrong besides my being abducted by aliens. So although I still get kind of sick to think about how scared I was, I am grateful that the demon dream helped me to discover the cause. I was not an abductee nor visited by the demonic, my sleep chemicals are wonky and I have a vivid mind. I can live with that.

In all but the "demon dream," I would wake up and the room would look exactly as it should in the position I was sleeping in. You absolutely believe you are awake with your eyes open. You "see" the room you are in. During the "demon dream" I could see, in my peripheral vision, my husband's hip and legs under the bed cover. It was amazing to me that he was so close and not affected by it.
