You can install Mac OSX on allot of netbooks with the hackintosh stick available on ebay, if you search ebay for Hackintosh its one of the top items with the picture of a snow leopard, i did it on my dell mini 10v and its brilliant!

I have a compaq cq62, pretty cheap machine, and I've install SL without all that. The only thing not working is Ethernet, but I can use MyWi on the iPad to connect or my virgin mobile mifi

Updating on my Hack through package updates from apple's site worked just fine. Then again I have a different setup than Gman does. I am running a Core 2 Duo on an ASrock board.
