really impressed with everything here. the andrews sisters harmonies, and the triple fiddles, but mostly with how in tune the unison fiddle lines were. wow. Great playing and singing. Guitar player is great
Apart from being a truly world-class arranger and guitarist, gotta say Joey is quite a showman in the way he puts his playing across as demonstrated here and, like the girls, is totally entertainin` in the true sense of the word - great stuff!!!
First saw the QSB when they performed in Redmond, WA and was just blown away so then went down to see them at the Columbia Gorge Bluegrass Festival and have been a fan ever since -- and have become a fan of Bob Wills as well. Thanks to the QSB for introducing me to this great music! Looking forward to catching them here in the Pacific Northwest again this summer.
We were lucky enough to catch you guys at the Lowell Folk Festival three years ago and you blew us all away then. Can't wait to see you all again. You all look and sound great! I've been hooked since then and a fan for life. Thanks for saving a bit of history and keeping that western swing going!
I saw you all in Virginia years ago, I never forgot it. We were blown away when we heard those voices. I got both the CDs. I live in New York City now. I wish you folks would come up some day, I never get to hear this old music up here like I did down there. Show us what real music sounds like!
I like these girls and their singing/playing. As a guitarist myself, I like every type of music. Western Swing is a very complex music style. It's the only style of music I know of that is harder to play rhythym than it is to play lead.
Still watching for another public performance in Houston...in the mean time, enjoying the CD and YouTube videos! Of course, given the choice, the mountains certainly are a more beautiful venue than most places...
Ya'll continue to astonish me with your grace and talent. The precision of ensemble and the perfect intonation are extremely difficult to achieve. Congratulations!
Beautiful blend of melodious voices and percussive guitar - you certainly don't need drums ; the violins seem to enjoy it so much that they never ever screech, but want to join the chorus. Bravo!
Few could even begin to sound as you do live...In a world where too much depends on deceptive studio produced sound Your group reminds us of the purity and power of harmony and unity in musical preformance. I love everything yall post.
Brilliant as always! Are you going to come to the UK? (although judging by those beautiful mountains in the background it'd be better if I came to see you guys in the USA!)
One of my favorite videos!

Everyone should be so lucky to meet these wonder folks. A little input from above and a lot of practice result in perfection.
