I think Sega should revert to the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle gameplay feeling for Sonic, because in recent releases, it was WAAAAY too linear and it just felt like you were simply driving a fast speed car.

There isn't alot of control over Sonic, although I do have to admit the high speeds did feel really awesome... That it until you run into a poorly placed enemy that you coukdn't see coming because of camera placement...

This game better bring a new gameplay style.

@aurarus Agreed. Recent releases were too linear, the only time the path splits up is by an INSTANT reaction (like jumping to chain homing attacks) you can never stop comfortably. Sonic Adventure was ace

i can understand amy, knuckles and tails, but it will be interesting to see what they do with shadow, but quite honestly i'm not convinced they'll have shadow in there, i just dont see how he could be worked in

It might have an odd storyline, unless its just an anniversery game w/ simply no story.  But with other characters, possibly a story but its never easy to imagine a sonic games story before it finally comes out. As for shadow, he may find himself on the Ark, and re-discover HIS TRUE PAST! XD

@KingMasterReview Sonic Unleashed was never supposed to be Sonic Adventure 3. Sonic 06 is the closest game to Sonic Adventure 3.

Ah, i'd really like the Two Sonic's to talk and interact. My theory is they'll team up against Eggman and Robotnik and perhaps another common enemy that caused the time thing such as Chaos.

Classic Sonic should be able to talk... but dont

example: Classic Sonic see's classic tails and opens his mouth but Moden Sonic interupts him saying something like "Hey isnt that Tails" and runs torwards him

or

Modern Tails could ask what's going on and Classic sonic is gonna answer but M.Sonic interupts and answers instead. .... Something like that.

I got to say, it'll be something big. And I did hear that Classic Sonic will be silent, and I would prefer that way, sometimes voicing came be some complain to some fans out there. And it would be awesome if there will be Classic Robotnik (from Sonic 1) and Dr. Eggman (from modern). And stages will be great, it'll go from classic, dreamcast, and to modern levels, so stages is what I'm most interest. Just imagine with Classic Sonic in Sonic Unleashed Level. :D
