Whats rly ridiculous is the devitation, I was prone on a stair and had the MEC rifleman I aimed right at the nmes upper torso...shot and nothing happened, yeah very realistic mod rofl.

@Nordicwarlock Il ask you what i ask everybody else in ur situation. How long did you wait before taking that shot? Deviation settle time is long. Also, you might have hit him but he lived. Takes 2 shots or so to kill.

@ralfidude long...I was camping there for five minutes he was like 50-70m away...without any moving. I like the mod and this devitation makes it harder but it isnt very realistic though.

Its just so hard to hit targets in that game sometimes when I kill enemies I think like wtf I didnt even aim at him and when I aim right at him I dont even hit sometimes...lol.

@Nordicwarlock Yep, BF2 engine limitations suck. But this is the best alternative. Otherwise, we have the noobishment from MW2 and BF2 on here, with 11 year olds who think they are leet cuz they can hit ppl while doing a dolphin dive in the mid air. Fuck that.

@ralfidude the good thing about deviation is that the firefights last longer because it actually harder to hit I like that. With laserbeam weapons it probaly would be over in a few seconds :D

try to shoot the lee enfield at 700 meters , atleast do it above 400 meters see if u r good at every shot . 29 bullets arent enough so u have to count on every shot that makes it harder when u play on Archer map , u have to shoot at longer distances and short on ammo .

They use the lee-enfield too, watch the dutch series ''patrick in uruzgan'' It's about a dutch reporter who's joining dutch forces in afghanistan. Then they find a weapon cache with a huge amount of riles and ieds. Lee-enfields included.

Yes, i had 3 in the squad. I mostly did my own spotting, but the 3rd guy was on the ground, laying IEDs on the roads to blow vehicles up coming from base. Just us 3 had the entire base under lock down.

That was awesome, you're a great shot! i remember when i used to play PR i went on sniper trips with a friend, he was my spotter. 600m running head shot :D. I wish i could still play PR....

In sniping i don't think it is hard to hit the soldiers, but it is hard to try to help out the team, be defending an objective or attacking one, i have a huge dificulty trying to get a good position to shoot them... anywhere near the objective.Some times i try to flank, only to find myself in a position where i dont have sight...

Thats the difficulty in it. You have to know ur spots well and have cover from ur buddies. I decided to go with a LEGIT tactic of camping their base, which it effectively reduced the amount of men on the battlefield, and very well defended the caches. Those men had to learn how to get out, and then rely on their rally systems.

Stay away from objectives, and make sure u have somebody with u, otherwise ur gonna lose the kit and piss alot of ppl off.

i think i got GP'd at some point, shot at another point by an angry SAW gunner and then i dont rmbr the third death. My spotter had me covered by picking up the kit for me if i died, i just spawned back on the rally. I did the same for him with his GP kit. We used the rally as our warning signal for anybody coming in on us too, :)
