  • Very smooth music and very good game. I think this would definitely make a good amount of money if there was a remake of the game.

  • Russell Irwin, Well packed man?! 0:27

  • best song you ever hear in the combat simulator, it fuels you so much :D

  • i love this song!!

  • i never realized the credits were so unique XD

  • @Skymeri you never beat the game?

  • @Shadowfan92 i did, but that was over 10 years ago. i don't remember much

  • I love how they throw you in a room with the most confusing boss ever then treat you to this piece of total badassery.

  • The music on this game just lets you know how much love went into making the entire game :-)

  • James Bond Will Return, Perfect Dark is Forever. Rare never really acted on this did they?

  • @XD00155 If only they could now...

  • PERFECT DARK IS FOREVER.

    (jelly C.O.D ?)

  • when i first saw these credits all most 10 years ago my n64 was very hot after all that time playing and i saw this in about 5fps THE BEST FRAMES PER SECOND OF MY LIFE

  • now i am playing this game again! because its the best game i ever played! i remember playing this when i was like under 10 i was fucking beast in this. owning and killing even the hardest mobs even my freinds couldnt take me down now i got those times back <3 <3

  • Perfect Dark and Legend of Zelda on N64 are the greatest N64 games ever.

  • the most l337 credits to the most l337 game ever, perc3kt ending! bravo

  • You know a game rocks when even the credits blow you away.

  • 0:38 orgasms....LULZ

  • games nowadays suck compared to all the games made before gamecube

  • 3 Idiots can't write music and can't stand this epicness.

  • when i die i hope i see these credits playing when i going to hell to heaven for kick the devils ass lol

  • One great thing about this game that present day game developers need to learn:

    Computer bots!

  • @offbeatturok0

OMFG I so fucking agree with you

    (... sorry for language :D )

  • Memories! I still play this game! It will remain in my top favorite games for the next 10 years!

  • "Perfect Dark Is Forever"

    AMAZING end!

  • sounds some what pokemon..

  • @DarkForm31 lol what pokemon have you heard? XD

  • Ces Après-midi passé, ces Week end passé, ces nuit blanches passé ... Meilleurs moment de ma vie !!!! :D

  • That is music!!!

  • NOTABLE QUOTES FROM THE CREDITS:

:41 - "Guns and Visual Orgasms"

    Thats so true.

    1:20 - "Bangin hardkore choonz"

This can translate to "Banging Hardcore Coonz" which means doing a black chick.

Seriously, this game is so epic that it gave me a mindgasm. Now im going to go dig it out of my closet.

  • @DarthMeg I'm pretty sure "Bangin hardkore choonz" translates to "Banging Hardcore Tunes". David Clynick is a composer at Rareware.

  • @KarikoEmpire34 Its a double entente.

  • I love these kind of end credits in games. the kind were it plays some cool ambient/rock music while some blue animation goes on in the background. looks futuristic :)

  • Still rank 2 "Near Perfect" and I played this game hundreds of hours when I was younger. Maybe gotta get back and grab that Perfect.

  • @NakkiJaKeppi its gets you a username and a password, but no one ever found what is was used for :(

  • best song from gaming!

  • i got this game a couple weeks ago (original n64 version). me and my friends played multiplayer at my birthday party. best birthday party i ever had! :D

  • "Visual orgasms"- and the only game with them

  • "Visual Orgasms By"

  • Brings back memories, love the music. thanks for posting this

  • I remember my brother always played this during our multiplayer matches :3

  • This is the best game in the video game history. I spent so many hours playing it.

  • Best game ever! I still love this game!

  • awesomest outro music alongside the halo 2 music with Steve Vai

  • why does the credit text keep flickering? if rare designed it that way then i think they shouldn't have cause you know some people (me included) might have "problems" with it like Seizures or makes your eyes go crazy

  • What's a "visual orgasm" O.o 0:39

  • @AGuyAndAGun holy crap! after years of playing and beating this game so many times i just noticed that! lol

  • I remember my brother buying the N64 along with the Goldeneye "starterkit" not much later we got Perfect Dark and played it religiously.

  • This game really is perfect, Call of Duty, Halo and all those type of games are overrated, Perfect dark really is the best FPS. The End Credits music is good when you are doing the last three challenges with DarkSims. I think i was one of the only people who actually found the challenges fun:P. My rank is Deadly:8. I still play this game.

  • @PeppyHare4000 Not true, Halo is pretty good but gets boring after a while. And the rest of these new FPS put more effort in: SO BIG AS POSSIBLE and WE MAKE IT THE BEATIFUL GAME EVER!

These 'next-gen' should make more simple games and put effort on the gameplay more! I do not want a game that has 50.000 possibilities and weapons, why not just make it simple but replayable like perfect dark, wich is stil a pretty big game.

Wanna be a game designer with me? :P

  • @PeppyHare4000 Try playing Challenge 1 with "Skedar Mystery" and Challenge 30 with "End Credits", it feels sooo right. =P

  • They've really poured a lot into this game. In my opinion, this game practically lived up to the "Perfect" name for First-Person Shooters.

  • yeah!!!!!!! el mejor shoter por siempre n_n

  • best shooter Nintendo has to offer

  • perfect dark is defently one of the best games i have ever played, and the theme is the best

  • Shit this game was awesome !

  • 1:12- 1:16 is the sound of God orgasming

  • Geez, Perfect Dark was one of the best, if not the best game shooter I've ever played! Shit, I love Nintendo's games and its soundtrack too!

  • does it ever actually end? Or does it just keep scrolling "Perfect Dark" by?

  • @Biake22 I just beat it and it really doesnt end, its been going for like 15 minutes, so...Perfect dark is forever

  • Why does it sound like the Jinjo's are powering up in this song?

But anyway, this is a great song notheless.

  • @blackmagestaff

    Jinjo? Why?

  • @blackmagestaff Because both Perfect Dark and Banjo Kazooie is made by Rare... oh god I wish they never sold their soul to microsoft.

  • The best part of this song is that it screams 'hi-tech', and the visuals only supplement that.

  • Finally finished this on XBLA its soo awesome

  • Rareware was the best thing on the N64. I played this game like none other.

  • Watched this again just to check.........Yep, still rocks hardcore!

  • ahahaha at 1:41... Beau Ner Chesluk: Guns and Visual Orgasms.

  • @MarkLaszutko I meant 0:41 :O.

  • Maestro doesn't cut it. God? Indeed.

  • Awesome game. One of the last great for Nintendo consoles.

  • XBLA version is much longer than the original.

It's from 4J Studios to Original Perfect Dark Team.

  • i just got done looking at this at 60 frames per second...........

  • The music is simply amazing. This game was simply amazing. At the age of 15 this game inspired me to work with games and computer graphics and I even wrote to the company. By 2008 I graduated with Bsc in Computer Games Technology, I owe that to this legendary game and genuis behind it's development.

  • @Coldplay120 noice!!!

  • 4:54 perfect dark is forever!

  • I wonder if in the XBLA version that will be coming out soon will have the hidden pieces of cheese as collectables to unlock items and stuff, including achievements.

  • @GameAce6

They said there would be some extra goodies for the hardcore. Can't wait.

  • I hope "hardcore" doesn't mean 10,000 kills in multiplayer. o_O

  • @GameAce6

Well I got over 150'000 kills on cod4 multiplayer, so that's wouldn't be terrible. o_o

Methinks they will be single player challenges.

  • oh...my....god...this is best game ever! -bob

  • Correction upon myself, Goldeneye defined FPS and multiplayer.

  • Comment removed

  • If you play TS2 the ending credits is like this with music blazing and the creators and everything going through a portal and a very colorful backround

but the TSFP ending credits are weird

anyways this is the most SUPERIOR FPS EVER

    PD FTW

  • the first FPS of Nintendo 64?

Uhm... NO! First of all any fan of PD knows Goldeneye 007 was out before it, but I'm sure Doom 64 and Duke Nukem 64 were out before it, if not they were at least out before PD.

  • Oh sorry rsrsrs...

  • @EasyCure0 Turok, too. PD wasn't out till like 2001.

  • Correction, I'm sure it was Goldeneye.

Don't bash me if I'm wrong people..

  • @Alesana102

Turok was the first wasn't it?

  • The best game ever was made 10 years ago and runs on a 14 year old machine. It's amazing how they pushed the limits of the hardware. Great AI, 8 bots at once. Great sound and graphics...It was almost too much for the console and that was the only downside: the framerate, but back then I didn't really care. :D

  • the framerate ws due to the fact this game went beyond the hardware's limits lol. the N64 couldn't handle Perfect Dark completely which made it cry sometimes but nonetheless, this is a masterpiece. Perfect Dark Is Forever indeed.

  • Perfect Dark is the perfect game with the perfect soundtrack and the perfect characters and the perfect guns. Perfect!!!

  • Perfect Dark is forever!!!

  • i wish they will make a new perfect dark game at least as good as this one. this is the best game i have ever played

  • Perfect Eargasm

  • Play that music maestro!

  • When I played the combat simulator on this game, this was the ONLY track I would play. It always got me pumped to kill the "sims". It used to drive my friends nuts.

  • Perfect Dark is, and will always be Forever. It's just so perfect to play. Like GoldenEye 007, it's one of the legendary benchmarks in the FPS series. Ten years later, we should have learned a lot of great things from these games.

I don't bloody care about most of the new shooters on the market, I'm sticking with PD and GE, no matter how fanatic I might be.

  • this game had really everything and an ass full of more.

  • In my opinion, these kind of credits just prove that developers put PLENTY of love in this game.

  • @pdforever111111111 and no love into the xbla remake

  • @pdforever111111111 Yes, that's basically what makes a good game, in my opinion -

    if you feel a true love for the game you make then anything is possible;

if you just want to make money on it and try to make it "grand" to make it sell more, then it is guaranteed to fail.

  • Fabulous game! But I believe the biggest nuisance is that you must reset the game during or after the credits. lol

  • ... Are these really the things in the end credits? XD

    "Guns and visual orgasms"

  • Rare is awesome like that. I don't think they ever took themselves too seriously. It looks like they had as much fun making the game as I had playing it, which is always a good thing.

  • Yeah, 'cuz you could TELL that they had a lot of fun with the Banjo series. Except for Nuts & Bolts. That sucks. :\

  • of coarse perfect dark is forever! xD its been released into 3 different consols and its coming to xbox live

  • Well not the same, same guitar solo style shit lol

  • This is awesome just like GE007 end credit song :)

  • Goldineye started the reimagining of FPS but Perfect Dark perfected it.

  • Perfect Dark is for consoles what Deus Ex is for PC. Simply a perfect game.

  • coming to xbox live arcade yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaar

  • Perfect Dark Is Forever Hell Yes!!! I still play N64 because of this game I wish they would re release this exact game n make it online for like the 360 or something & I dont really like the 360's perfect dark zero

  • It's coming to XBLA later this year I think :D

Not sure if it's gonna be online though.

  • umm...lol im pretty sure they are, but with better graphics i think...not sure

  • @HybridRenoII They did just that and it's coming very very soon. :D

  • Also ive a suspicion halo2 copied this end credits or at least took inspiration

  • Such a game pity bout da awful ending. Rare used to be the best!! Banjo-kazooie,diddy kong racing, donkey kong the great goldeneye.....Sad to see them way they are now =(

  • Such a badass song playing. Rare even knew how to make a sweet ending credits.

  • Grant Kirkhope is a fucking master at this shit.

You can get eargasms from this shit, man... fuck, I am, right now.

    /eargasm

  • you couldnt really discover how great this game was till you played through the solo on perfect agent, talk about some mad game play

  • where can I find the song at 5:00

  • Between this game and Conker, RARE definately knew how to do things with the N64 that noone else could.

  • Fun fact: the N64 has 4mb RAM, the expansion pack (which was required for PD's campaign) expanded it to 8mb. computers of the time around when PD came out had 64-128mb RAM.

  • Guns and visual orgasms

  • Perfect Dark is forever.

  • This game set the golden standard for FPS games in so many ways that still holds true today. I hope one day the PSN gets a re-make, I would buy it in a heartbeat along with anybody else who was alive in the time period this game was released.

  • actually microsoft bought the rights to RARE a while ago, thats how they came out with perfect dark Zero. and perfect dark is coming out for the xbox live arcade this christmas.

  • how long does the credits go for

  • you can't compere recent FPS with this masterpice.the very best of the N64

  • Thank the Rare team, a high quality game, expensive at the time, but one heck of a game, thats why its popular, Rare made this game absolutly professional..

  • As it's name says Perfect Dark is perfect.

Awesome game, story, graphics, weapons, gameplay, multiplayer, everything!!

  • this song is so fucking good :)))))

    love it

  • BEST SHOOTER EVER!!!

  • the weapons in this game where so awesome. i havent seen a laptop gun i na long time. im so happy this is comeing to vbla this year. why does nintendo have to have so many family games i stated in 1 comment that there are. alot of games they could put on the wii store like. this. duke nukem 64 Goldeneye turok 1 2 and 3 turok rage wars etc

  • duke nuken sucked best games were Turok, Perfect dark, and Goldeneye.

  • good taste in games dude

  • Legend of zelda ocarina of time was good too

  • once again u have good taste in games I have all of those games u just listed

  • i saw on your profile you have mario 64 i have that game too. I remember how rainbow bowser used to be so hard for me (the last bowser) now i own it in less than 2 mins XD

i dont have all the stars tho =[

Do u have any Banjo games?

  • banjo games likewhat and how many stars are u missing I can tell u where they are i have all of them

  • i mean like Banjo kazooie, Banjo tooie

and i dont play mario anymore i got tired of it

  • Perfect Dark and Zelda Ocarina of Time are often considered the best games ever made on N64 actually.

  • @TheUndertaker0wns Turak caused our N64 to lag at times =/ we finished it though.

  • @Rosalila lmao word, it lagged for me too

    expecially the explosions

it always scared the crap outa me so i couldn't finish it, but my cousin got rle close to

  • @TheUndertaker0wns, @Rosalila

same here until i bought the memory upgrade. then it ran smooth. also the second gen of N64 (clearish colors and such) didn't have too much lag problems as the first gen.

  • one of the best sci-fi fpses .

  • The best fps ever made

  • Let's Rock.

  • yep, good memories my friends. i hope to see you all on XBL soon hehe. bring it on.

  • coming to XBL soon. Perfect Dark IS forever!

  • "perfect dark is forever"

this says everything, almost as if they took that from our minds

  • I think it has no end ^^ (looping music and titles :p)

  • how long r the credits?mines still going!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ironic and sad to see Perfect Dark is Forever, to how the lackluster prequel ruins the franchise.

    PD64 is forever though.

  • Agreed. Perfect Dark Zero is joke. I did not like the Anime art style.

  • you know your right. PDZ was the biggest disappointment to me in a gaming sense. I was such a PD geek, mastered everything there is to that game, except im "near perfect" in the combat sim., everything else i did.

and to see this PDZ? GARBAGE SEQUAL.. period. i hope XBL version can live up to the N64 MASTERPIECE!

  • Nice man, I got up to "Invincible: 3".

"Near Perfect" is rank 2 right?

And yeah, Perfect Dark Zero was crap

  • I have no idea why they didn't include this in PDZ. PDZ was awful, the music was nothing like Perfect Dark music should be!

  • fricking awesome man

  • this song just so nice ^^ remmeber the game to realy good game have done all the levels on hard or what it calls there again or was is 00Agent like james bond?

  • The hardest difficulty is called Perfect Agent. :P

  • damn it. i miss the time. brings back memories. best game ever like golden EYE

  • perfect dark is forever

  • it's just for ever and ever.

  • If you concentrate hard enough, you can ALMOST picture a world where Joanna Dark is as familiar and beloved a name as Solid Snake...

  • Man, just think about it...

-MGS1 was revolutionary on the PS1

-Perfect Dark was revolutionary on the 64

-MGS kept going with good sequels and an endearing plot, through 3 more games and countless spinoffs

-Perfect Dark led to Perfect Dark Zero, a lackluster game with forgettable plot and gameplay.

-MGS2 created a path to a great saga

-PD0 pretty much spat on Perfect Dark's chances of a worthwhile sequel.

    WHY IS LIFE SO UNFAIR?!

  • here here man, and to think PD didn't even get graced with a sequel, just a weird prequel :'(

  • I hear you. I have to say though, that Perfect Dark wasn't really revolutionary, Goldeneye 007 was. Perfect Dark took that though and tweaked it into something better.

  • I don't know about that Mrster. I can see that 007 set the precedence but PD exploded on it.

Multiplayer customization was definitely revolutionary, the challenges and ranking systems... so much detail.

Secrets like cheeses, glitches, hidden areas/ways to beat time trialed boards for cheats.

I dunno. I'd say 007 built the rocket but PD flew it to the moon. :]

  • I completely agree, in fact, that's kind of what I meant. (:

  • To the moon? Perfect Dark flew it to fucking Mars!

  • actually your both wrong, it was out of this universe

  • i love the music to this game

    pure briliance

  • on occasion my friends and i would get the trippy part going and just sit and chill for hours with it in the background. it never got old. still never gets old.

it's perfect because the whole game is filled with electronica and 64-bit metal/industrial tracks, and then you get to unwind with the trippy little ditty at the end. sounds like something portishead might have done on an off-day.
