This is, in my very humble opinion, the greatest song ever written. I love this performance, even though it's an imperfect one.

i believe the reason why he skipped all the verses is because he got angry with mick when he started singing too early,at 0:36

In every version he starts singing after the 2nd chorus

But then maybe it was the venue ? loads of posh rich Londoners sitting at tables, people standing up being frowned upon.

Goldfrapp also took part in this series and they looked uncomfortable with the venue too.

Hmmm...I like the vibe, but I think I still prefer the more raucous versions.

The organ riffs were a nice touch, though.

It was more raucous when I saw him in Washington DC and Philadelphia a few nights ago.

I noticed that he changed "measuring of truth" to "weighing of the truth" the way Johnny Cash covered it. RIP Johnny, you always were plugging for us unsaved sinners, and you knew a great song when you heard it.
