But can you tell me, since when has "90% of England is a shit hole"? I know parts of North Hertfordshire, South Essex, Surrey and South Bedfordshire are not that picturesque, but it is not all bad. Oh no, just a group of people who make about 20% of the population of the town.

Go to Marsh Farm, their you will see the affects of this downturn more than anywhere else.

Actually better still, neighboring town Dunstable, that place has really suffered. All that seems to be open their now is betting shops and pubs and a massive ASDA which has effectively forced the smaller shops to close down.

Terry a friend used to run the Engine but the pub is closed as when the other leases expire the area is destined for re-development, in addition the Cheapside area nocked down has planning permission for flats to be built but is not quite ready.

You are all right, for some reason tv crews always film Bury Park area which is not a true reflection of Luton scene-but hey! Far better there than Marsh Farm!
