1. If you were to see God as He actually IS, then His holiness would consume your sin ridden self like a consuming fire. God revealed Himself to people in the Bible in the form of a man, burning bush, an angel messenger, etc.

2. The real reason: The Bible says that If Jesus HIMSELF were to physically appear and talk in front of everyone that they STILL would not believe on Him. That is how much people love themselves over God.

So here Jesus tells us that if we don't believe Moses and the prophets (The Holy Bible), then it wouldn't matter if we saw His resurrection.

Darwin himself wrote that he couldn't prove that species evolved into different species, he could only prove adaptation which we can observe.So in my scientific context, the ONLY explanation left if life wasn't made from random processes is that an intelligent, uncreated, omnipotent being created life. Now based on that, I can't prove the Christian God and I admit that. I can only say why evolution can't be true based on evidence.

The same must hold true with life. The only idea more ridiculous than evolution is that aliens made us because even if it was true, the theory defeats itself. Very interesting. When scripture is explained with this kind of detail it definitely increases one's understanding and evoked in me a sense of reverence. Daily I think to myself what an incredibly forgiving and loving God created us in his own image. My blessings in this life are way beyond anything I could possible deserve.
