Hey People! Check up on youtube about "the industry" and the "illuminati" and find out what's really going on with this world. It's worth the research. Hope you wake up to the truth!
correct me if I am wrong, you are more than likely anti Monarch. In every country in the world other than the US of A,that is a Republic has Problem's this country has done quite well under the CROWN ,We do not what to Stuff it Up,and to change the Flag over my Dead Body. And to add a further foot note I was a State Ward under the Late King, and if any one had a valid reason too get rid of the Crown I would.
@h2oaquarium My opinion sways with becoming a republic. When I was younger I loved the royals and supported the whole romance of the idea. During the refferendum (spelling) I was pro-republic. Now the issue is not really important to me. It would be ok to be a republic but I don't see how it would really make any real difference to my life other than some symbolic warm and fuzzy.
@igloo n64 Hi,I would accept a Republic only when the Queen either Abdicates or Dies, and only if Australian's choose the President, and not how the government whats to do it that that the members of Parliament choose.Kind Regards John Groves State President One Nation Victoria
@iglooin64 She after all is the currant leader of this Great Country ,the position at least deserves that a person swears on the bible as it has always been since Federation,I am a God fearing person and a Christian so don't try to brow beat me
@h2oaquarium If you want to swear on the Bible that's perfectly fine. If you want to take the oath without the Bible that's fine as well. I think it's important to have a choice regarding these matters, without ramifications. I'm not brow beating you or any other person of faith. I'm just was objecting to your implication that an atheist cannot be trusted with the truth.
@h2oaquarium On the issue of religion in politics. On reflection I think I'm influenced by Gillard's lack of religion. I see that as a flaw in myself in some respects and should take the emotion out of that idea. I quite like the push and pull between people of belief and non-belief. It makes for a more considered society.

Looks like labour and the greens have a real fight to stay in government!
Liberal/Nationals have my vote, always have, always will as long as they keep the dog chain on Turnbull.

@h2oaquarium Please have some respect for others in our community. "Believers" don't have a monopoly on integrity and the "truth".
