I am working on a similar project with a 55 Gallon tank. I have experience with hydroponics but am just getting into aquaponics. So I have limited knowledge about taking care of fish but I know a lot about plants. Thanks for the video, hopefully I can take some video of my setup and you can drop me some pointers.
I would be glad to, I'm always ready to talk Aquaponics. I think clean fish and plants are going to be critical for our survival in the future. The new system I'm builiding will be about 90 gallons with Talapia, and alot more efficient than this one. For starters, I plan to use the sun instead of electric lights.
A tip- If available, always use the "watch in high quality" link on the bottom right hand corner of the viewing window when watching photo slideshows. Otherwise the photos may look grainy and lack detail.
Lavender *might* like aquaponics, but I think the issue might be more of light. They love full sun. What kind of tubes are your burning?
